It seems that every year, there are poker pros whose prop bets become the center of attention at the WSOP. Last 2016, Vanessa Selbst challenged Jason Merc[...] Read more » Negreanu agrees on prop bet to win three bracelets at WSOP 2017

I love the way these guys like to gamble and i hope that Daniel Negreanu can have a good go at it. But, to only get even money on three bracelets does seem to be a bit skinny for me

when you have no real incentive then these kind of bets are a good idea since like he said it will push him. mercier would be kicking himself he didnt take 1.8million from selbst! especially for a easy 10k

there is no way negreeanu will earn 3 bracelets this year... I think its almoust impossible for him to get even 1 bracelet... he is just outdated, and there are a sht ton of better players than him, so his chances are equal to zero

Usually some events of the less popular variants, like 2-7 triple draw, have fairly small player fields, compared to the Holdèm tourneys. Those offer a fair shot at a bracelet or even two. But winning three in one year will still be tough.
It would have been doable if it was 10 yrs ago but nowadays you should considered lucky to have reach the final table especially in the NL Holdem tournaments...

Daniel Negreanu... How old is he now? 41? 42? KidPoker is no longer a kid. Everyone gets old! Time passes so quickly. Hasn't he shaved off his beard yet? I wish him all the best of luck in his endeavor.
Daniel Negreanu is certainly a great igrioq and it seems to me that for him there are not very many impossible events .... with due concentration and luck he can become the greatest player ever played poker ... and I just really like him at the table ... there he is a great man

All the ones agreeing or participating is such bets are pure gamblers. No matter what they are doing like playing poker or blackjack for example, i dont think you can call them professional poker players. They are professional gamblers. Am i wrong?

all of them are, even if you are a 'invester' its still technically gambling.....its just at one point these pro's have hit a lucky streak so have money to conquer the variance

doesnt have to still be a kid if 'kid poker' is a nickname! just like the poker brat....he doesnt have to still be a brat to be called that initial nickname, usually in such instances it sticks even more when you are the opposite

wait a sec- negreanu agreed on a bet that he wins 3 bracelets on wsop at even money, when selbst offered mercier same bet at 180-1 odds? talk about a variation in odds... me thinks it was kinda stupid from selbst to take on such a risk for a mere 10k...

It seems, that some poker pros having more fun with bets than with poker playing But why not, so they can protect their bankroll for the next tourney. Bu to win three Bracelets this WSOP series was verry difficult, gl Mr. Negreanu

The chances are that you are a bit illiterate. And who are "they" in your post above? Another baseless, invidious assumption?
how is it being illiterate; when you said kidpoker was hardly a kid and i said well the nickname sticks regardless of his age....
and 'they' means you - obvious you had a cry and wrote to admin since I havent been able to down vote you for over a month now. but can upvote/downvote others....not hard to figure it out.
so please continue on with your self centered ideology clutching at words to give everyone the impression you are smart....either that or google translate really doesnt work for you

- Wrong assumption. Again.

I don't tnink it is possible to win three bracelets in wsop, there are so many good players and also many players in each tournament so you must habe so many luck that this is only possible in theory but in reality I think even 2 bracelets are super hard to win.
