Many congratulations to Abe Mosseri on winning his second bracelet and the first prize of $388,795. Daniel Negreanu is trying very hard to win his prop bet and he might go very close to doing so

well i think that negreanu really blown his chances on the prop bet, he came oh so close in these 2 events which were relatively small in terms of the total entrants, but he still has no bracelet to show for his effort, and i really don't see him winning 3 bracelets in bigger field tourneys... still a good job though

This was the first chance for Negreano to win his bet of 3 bracelets this Year at the WSOP. But the second place in this event was a really good result and he won another big cash. For the most poker players it was a dream to reach a second place at a WSOP event only one time in her life.

winning the prop bet - since its even money - is more of a motivation thing to keep his head in the game, its obviously working, despite not getting the bracelet hes well on track for atleast a great return of investment

Huge congratulations go out to Abe Mosseri on winning the 2017 World Series of Poker event number 9. Congratulations also to Daniel Negreanu for his runner-up finish. Mike Matusow was also at the final table. Very well played, everyone.

Negrianu certainly a great player but apparently Omaha is not his game .... of course Hold'em and Omaha are not very different ... but many extra chances in Omaha I do not really like ..... good luck to Negrin in the next tournament

yeah robbo is right about this, the side bet affair is more like pr than a real thing, probably a little bit of extra motivation, though doubt that one needs any more motivation when he pays the buy-in and has a chance to win major cash.

I think it is a little bit sad not to see danile negreanu win this tournament, it is then a good momentum and two more bracelets and he wins his bet. But after some tournaments played danile is on good form and made two final tables already

This is a nice omaha h/l tournament to play.
Almost 400k for the first place with only 154 entries.
Its doesnt look like a popular format or the buy in itself was too high for some.
Negreanu didnt manage to win this one, but he is doing ok after all.

well actually this is the tournament i would enjoy to play myself, first of all i like this format- omaha hi/lo, and then the fact that there is only about 150 runners in the field, not enjoying those tourneys with thousands of entrants. and yeah the prize-pool wasn't too bad either.

yeah with this bracelet he would be closer to winning his bet for 3 bracelet and his chance is to win this smaller WSOP tournaments, but with big payouts!but when he missed this chance,he will not get any bracelet till end,I suppose!

Everytime we will hear Negreanu's name at any final table even in an $1k event, we will think about the prop bet. I would bet a lot about Daniel to be the WSOP player of the year as this prop bet will give him that extra to dig results...

Yes I like this tournament too and like pochuo tells omaha hi/lo game too, I tried it some times and itm was so fun to play at small money cash game on pokerstars, lots of action people raise and reraise go allin almost every hand, big pots and lots of fun, but as in other poker i play i don't win in this game too Disagree
