They are giving licenses only by getting money.
Isnt it the main issue?
And not only they want money for licenses but also taxes, from players and taxes.
Politics and politicians, what less to expect.

yeah, thats why poker stars and some other sites, had to open their company in specific country, because that was only way to be still on that market!for smaller sites this is big problem and they cant open in every country company and make software for that players!

I played on everest poker a very long time ago and i remember I liked the room and played a lot of free sit and go tournaments with $0,10 prizepool shasta tables I think was name. So now when I hear that everest poker is having problems I am really sad, I hope they will continue to do business.

My country has left many poker rooms. These new gambling laws were the reasons.
I really liked everest poker, but only until Everest joined the ipoker. After that I barely played there.
In the past, around 2009-10. There were plenty freerolls, with high prizes... Smile Nostalgic thinking about those times!
Sad Disagree Heart Heart

My poker beginnings were in this room of Everest poker where I felt very comfortable to play with a nice software and with great variety of tournaments and tables alive, many freeroll, but at the moment I do not play anymore there and if it is a pity that Do not operate in some countries.-
