I would just like to know peoples thoughts on omaha and horse, i presonally think there both waist of time especially omaha its pure game for chancers, but if any thinks other wise please let me know and maybe you could talk me into thinking that there not that bad, but i doubt it .... all the best

Omahahaha is indeed a game where draws are very important. You can flop top set and are only flipping a coin against a good draw. These are points where most people used to holdem struggle.

H.O.R.S.E is poker at it's purest, to succeed you need to be skilled in all 5 disciplines and it truely sorts out the men from the boys in these games. Hold Em players (especially no limit) who have no idea about the other simply cannot compete in this environment. Also I often think H.O.R.S.E is the thinking poker players game, you only get a limited amount of time at each variation so mistakes can be even more costly and critical especially in a tournament situation.
As for OMAHA, I regard it as the poker players HOLD 'EM, yes it is a lot more draw heavy, but you also need to rely on all your instincts such as reads and tells. You simply cannot bluff someone out of a pot in PL omaha (Well you can but it is a lot harder) So you need to readjust your game.
I really think before you can become a solid poker player in any variation you really need to grow an appreciation for the others.
Every day when I have time i`m playing the Horse tournament on Full Tilt. On VC or Titan i´m playing Omaha PL Hi or HiLo. It`s much more fun then Holdem. Always looking for some good Omaha games

What levels you playing at?? I'm still a small fish hahaa.. but at some point we will have to have a game of h.o.r.s.e on ft

Omaha and HORSE are both good games, but of course they need more skill than their simplier friend texas hold'em... omaha expecially needs a huge bankroll as well!
I just love playing omaha it's a game with so much more action then hold'm you really need to think before you play, have a strategie on how to play certain combinations, and you really have to focus on the other players and their betting patterns. in hold'm you just have the standard hands in wich to raise, call and fold, but omaha changes everytime .
Horse on the other hand is a game for players who are experienced in all 5 disciplines and that for me is a bridge to far hehe especially the Razz part
still I really think you should at least give omaha a chance and play it frequently, read some about it, and in time you'll start to fall in love with it
