With regard to late registration I usually use it according to the structure of the tournament, If it is hyper or turbo it is preferable not to use it and it is advisable to register at the beginning of the tournament. The late registration is favorable when the blinds are determined every 10 or 15 minutes, according to my way of seeing.-

It depends on numerous factors, including a buy-in amount, the number of entrants, expected prize pool, payout structure, blind structure, etc. So I don't think there is one absolutely correct answer for your question, sabre0069. Good luck with your games.
