i really dont see the point of posting a new thread like this with no infomation, what were the stakes, tourny, cash game, what was the raise, was it even a money game, gee ive folded pkt Qs on many occasions on the higher limits (after big raises though) pkt Qs arnt really that great a hand.

Well, I'm not sure what you are asking? Is it standard to fold ppQ/PPT when you know an opponent is holding ppA? Yes, if the situation dictates. Meaning, suppose you have ppQ and make a standard 3-4BB raise, and the ppA comes screaming over the top allin, well, I think a fold is in order. The logic here is that with a smaller pp preflop, you will need to be getting 5-1 on the money to hit your 21% set by showdown. But to get to showdown, you are most likely to be facing more bets on the flop, turn and river, so that kinda sorta dilutes that preflop logic. Of course the situation becomes more interesting when there are other opponents in the pot as well, but perhaps that is for another post...

If you are beat, you are beat. But i doubt that Mr. "Standard" Antonius would fold pocker queens here. You need a sick read on your opponent to do so.

Nice picture. It's hard to fold that. I can't actually. But I play low limits. And I totally agree with shokaku. And you should know that you still have a chance to win against AA.

Yeah I agree, theres still a chance to win, I have taken on ppA with something of lesser value and came out on top,

Didnt stop the other player bitching for a few hours though.

Really hard to fold it.

Usually, in a heads up, I go all in starting from 10 10 too Tongue Tongue

Of course gambling is ever a risk but in a heads up, as for me, you have to try it.

In any other tournament moment I prefer to raise only
