In this case, one can`t be to cautious. Gambling addiction (and tax evasion) starts with the very first cent. So it is better to be save than sorry. There are still the playmoney tables to attend.

What's the reason given? Do they say that they don't want children playing online poker for real prize money, even a freeroll? That actually makes some sense.
And seriously, I'm going to vote for someone based on their stance regarding online poker? There aren't more important issues? More countries are going to be making it illegal and shutting it down rather than opening it up. Governments don't want money flowing out of the country, and don't want to have to monitor compliance with anti-laundering legislation. This is simply how it goes. It's not a big enough issue to be determinative of any election either.
Sorry to be a cynic, but this whole concept of "fighting for online poker rights" strikes me as a waste of time.

Politicians at it again right? We know first hand of it, since they have passed some stupid laws here that crippled the online games for our own good as they say Online games were very bad for us, that is why they are promoting now, the land based ones Politicians and their stupid agendas making fun of all of us.

The politicians who get into the issue of regulation of poker in each country do not have the least of how to handle the matter. In this case it is already funny to charge against the freerolls when we all know that most of the players that participate in it are recreational.-

What a stupid thing politicians are doing with this law, i don't like these decisions to make simple things illegal, what is the reason of doing this? People still will find some ways to do what they want with their money and some do this hudy because to show politicians that they will not control their lives
I with horror expect something like that in Russia .... we can not already play offline (only in special areas) and access to game sites is blocked .... customers of poker rooms are still working but guarantees that there will be no. ... it's all sad

... < ...Being that Portugal is a predominantly Catholic country I believe,...I'd bet it's a massive lucrative conspiracy between the Church and the Portuguese tax ministry to force gamblers to ONLY be playing church bingo every Saturday night ...

It's very sad news indeed for all the players residing in Portugal. In reality, we can’t precisely predict what the future will bring. Life is full of unexpected and certainly unwanted twists and turns, isn't it?

I find these sort of rulings' a bit stupid. You are not being allowed to play in a freeroll where there is no money being changed is crazy.. I am glad that Briatin is not following suit on this ridiculous ruling

They just want to drive them out of online games, as much as possible. Politicians must be backed from big pockets with businesses on land. They want their time and money to go there
