Pokerstars Echeck warning  +1
Hey there guys, just a heads up,if you use echeck for deposits on pokerstars, they have been having issues with double charging, and taking money from my bank account with out my authorization,so be careful and watch you r statements, and they fought me hard not to give me back my money they, well stole from me,they took $50 in total but I am only getting $30 back.
They took $20 first in may, then $30 at the end of the month,They double charge my bank account each time.
Each time they blamed my bank and said my bank was withholding funds. That never happened each time pokerstars was paid, for each echeck, but for some reason, they blame errors now with there payment processor, please watch out if you are using echecks for deposits.

This is Amaya Group came to steal money from the players in their's poker room or it's just about currency fluctuation. I ask this because i may be right. Depends on how you have your account in canada dollars or sua dollars. Anyway they take advantage of this fluctuation but i do not know if he steal money of players. Return with an answer maybe you're wrong or maybe it's true, and you're telling the truth.

Hello

We understand that this situation can be frustrating for you but, unfortunately, your funds are held by your bank and not by us. As such you will need to wait until your bank is able to determine the status of the transaction which was initially made on 22.09.2017 and remove the authorization hold.

As we mentioned in our previous letter If the transaction appears on your official statement as a settled charge or remains as a debit in your online banking report for more than 10 business days from the date of the initial transaction which will be on 09.10.2017, please contact us back. However, note we are unable to further assist you with this matter until this time has passed.

Should you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

There where a few other emails, between me and pokerstars, but I'll share with you,That after visiting the bank and explaining to the bank the situation with them, the bank told me to dispute them and that they would help me,do that cause my bank account has no holds of any kind, and I even have over drafted.

here's another.

Hello,

Please keep in mind that when transactions are settled with your bank, usually a few business days after the actual purchase was made, a second charge for the same amount may appear on your online bank statement. These are called 'pre-authorization charges' and should clear back onto your account automatically within 10 business days.

Kindly note that we will only be able to assist with this pre-authorization charge after the 10-business-day time frame has elapsed.

If the charge in question still shows on your official monthly statement after 09.10.2017, please contact your bank and ask them to confirm if the transaction has settled.

If it has, please provide us with the new copy of your bank statement dated from one day prior to the affected transaction, right up until the present date.

Once we have both the copy of the bank statement as requested, we will be in a position to investigate this further with our processor.

That email was a lie,my bank doesn't do theses things, and before they do any pre-authorization they need my permission and I never gave them that for the 2nd time they charged me.

here's the email I sent them, after visiting with the bank.

Hi,
I have just talked with my bank, and they have disputed your claim of them issuing,or having any kind of holds on my accounts,or funds in my account, and are ready to officially dispute you r claim,of
"your funds are held by your bank and not by us. As such you will need to wait until your bank is able to determine the status of the transaction which was initially made on 22.09.2017 and remove the authorization hold."

My bank has confirmed with me that there are no such holds on any funds,on my account and have confirmed that you have over charged me,and the bank has assured me they do no such things as you say here.
"your funds are held by your bank and not by us. As such you will need to wait until your bank is able to determine the status of the transaction which was initially made on 22.09.2017 and remove the authorization hold.

My bank doesn't do this as you claim.
As I have said you have over charged me,and took money from my bank account, with out my authorization.
My bank is ready to dispute this with me.

I have made you aware.

here's there response to that email.

Hello ,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Our eChecks’ payment processor has confirmed that due to a technical error on their end the below deposit you made via eCheck has been charged twice:

Amount: 30.00 CAD
Transaction: 1729308029
Date: 2017-09-27

In order to correct this, we are working with our eChecks processor to get the second charge credited back to your bank account as soon as possible but this process may take approximately 5 business days. We appreciate your patience while the amount of the second charge is credited back to your bank account's balance. You (nor your bank) need to do anything on your end as the correction is in progress now.

We are deeply sorry for our last reply, as this was an expected and unusual error on our financial processor's side that we were not aware of when you first contacted us.

Thank you for your understanding and please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

Thank you for fixing this issue, how ever I am sure this is not the 1st time this happened to be me,bye you! I just let it go and chose not to go further,I now feel cheated and I am very disappointed bye the way this was handle bye pokerstars,I will not miss the $20 you 1st took from me, too much, but it stings to now I was right, because this happened to me again, with a much bigger amount,I really was expecting better service, and understand.

I will post my experience about this whole issue on bankrollmob.com forum in due time, and will warn others who use echeck, and what kind of service and understanding they will get in trying to fix any issues they may have and watch and pay attention to there bank accounts, when it comes to pokerstars and echeck.
This is very annoying I don't expected you understand, how could I expected you guys too, after being treated, this way.
I like playing on pokerstars very much in facted it is my favorite room to play in,so this whole thing leaves me with bitter feelings,Just cause of the way it was handled and you r refusal do to any thing and look further into it,(until your 10 business days expired) let alone I had to go too my bank and show them, the transaction, from you r cashier in the poker client,to show them and explain the whole thing to my bank, and have them confirm every thing I already knew.THAT POKERSTARS AND THERE PAYMENT PROCESSOR TOOK MY MONEY.

Thank you for giving me back what was rightfully mine, that you wrongly took from me,and you r vain attempt at an apology if we can call it that.

After sending them that email, they sent me back this response.

Hello ,

Thank you for your reply.

We are really sorry for this issue and for the inconvenience that it must be causing you.

Our initial reply to your message was incorrect and we are really sorry for the trouble you had with your bank. We understand that it is very frustrating to waste your time and energy due to the inaccurate information that we have provided you.

The funds will be returned by our financial processor today. Therefore, and in order to avoid further delays, we would advise you to not chargeback the transaction.

If any fee has been charged, please provide us with a copy of your bank statement clearly showing the overdraft fees you incurred in. With that information, we will ensure that our payment processor also reimburses that fee by crediting that amount directly into your bank account.

Once again, please accept our sincere apologies and let us know if there is anything else that we can do.

... Big Smile< ... I used to buy into about $150 - $200 worth of tournaments there per month...then they started to trim down their promos and freebies (share the wealth)...THEN...they merged their FT and PS platforms and then got REALLY greedy....so I stopped spending all that money... Thumbs Down

... Big Smile< Now I only spend about $2.80 per month now (yes,...two dollars) to enter a leaderboard tourney on there that costs .01c to buy in and .20c each for a rebuy and an add-on every 4 days...

... Big Smile< RAKE THAT 8=======D PickpocketStars.... Thumbs Down

It really is Crazy to think that the biggest brand in the business is really pulling shady s h i t like this on a smaller players like ourselves.

I was a huger vocal supporter to all my friends and then when the brand changed and started eliminating player rewards and adding moronic features such as Chests? Chests really ? how about points i can use towards free buy-in's or cash outs ? You know like the old system which wa working brilliantly i might add.

I've lost the wabt to really grind there any more and will focus most of my table time split between PartyPoker/ACR.

I still 1000% believe that PokerStars offers the best bang for your buck when it comes to different formats and always having good MTT's and cash games available much more so than the other companies.

Too bad really

irish you are so wrong... what is ps offering you? apsolutley nothing... there is no even rakebacke there... they dont have any promotion that are related to poker, and just dont have anything... only they got is large field of players, but that is shrinking very fast... my suggestion is party or 888 they are best right now... party is giving a lot of rakeback, and have from time to time realy nice promotions... I dont know what have 888 but I heard they have nice promo also

I really only like the formats of there tourneys and the kind of games that can played,That's is my sad reason for playing there,I should just close my account uninstall them and be done.
I did notice that party poker is and has been picking up drastically, and at least they give you some thing when they crew some thing up.
Pokerstars I never thought they would do some thing like this,to take money from my bank account, thinking I wouldn't notice, then denying its them,or there fault.
Its like waking up one day and finding you r girlfriend just dumped you and took you r money on her way out......lmao Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap!

I just dont know why people are still playing on rakestars... for real? its not pokerstars that it was... that ship sailed away as soon as amaya bought it, and when they started to listen to shareholders and stoped listening to players...

If I were in your place, I would give up definitively. It seems like these jerks at the amaya group they are not happy with what they win. They want more money and get to steal from the players money. Their recent decisions will fall into their heads. Shame on you pokerstars. I hope you go bankrupt after the players leave this ugly poker room.
