A masked man robbed the Bellagio poker room cashier cage Tuesday afternoon and got away with cash of undetermined amount. The cashier complied with the robber's demands as she was held through gunpoint. Although no one was physically harmed, the armed robber managed to get away with his loot. Police have currently released surveillance photos as well as details of the getaway car.

THis must have ben terrifying for the cashier involved and i am very glad that she wasn't physically hurt. I hope that they catch this guy very soon so he cannot do it again
of course there is a temptation for the robbers to commit their crime in this casino .... then in prison he can proudly say- I robbed the casino Billaggio !!!!! ..... probably in prison it will be an authoritative statement)))) ... but if it seriously surprises the ease with which the offender left the casino

I´m wondering, that the security personal did nothing against the robber. It seems sometimes, it was to easy for the gangsters to steal money or chips from the different casinos. But perhaps, the robber goes to a other Casino and goes allin with the stolen money

Casinos have high exposure to loss from robbery and theft. I just wonder how much premium a high-end Las Vegas casino like Bellagio has to pay for burglary, theft and robbery insurance. Is there an upper limit on coverage?

well I guess you cannot really scare poker pros with anything, they have seen all sorts of sh1t in their long and elusive careers. also another thing I have to point that even they do get scared, they put up a stone cold poker face to hide the fact that they are sh1tting in their pants.

Such things are really scary, i can only think what i do if o play in my local casino eith my friends and some guy with gun enters the room and tried to rob cashier, of course very scary, i try to not anger this guy because he can shoot anyone. Just do nothing and be calm and let him leave the room

Next year they will steal the hotel with employees and players together. It is very clear what good work do they do these guards or cops. they do not care about the players' safety they are only interested in money(profit). They should be ashamed, is embarrassing.

Yea we saw the news yesterday also. Although we had a figure first on what he got, today they say the dont know how mush he ended up getting. The poker lobby had lots of cash in, but apparently he didnt go that way.
of course it is very strange that the criminal could leave the casino without any problems .... and of course the security service in this case showed a bad job .... but maybe they just decided that the risk of their lives should not be done .... because the surveillance cameras recorded criminal

Why you should risj your own life for some money. Especially when it is not yours, and you just work at the place it is being robbed. It doesnt worth it, at all. How he passed the weapon through is another case. They dont have scanners there?

Strange things happen from a time in this las vegas. Is a shame considering those crimes that have recently been committed. I just do not have words. These casino owners deserve spitting and punishing. Very weak security measures. People should make a revolt and the owners to increase security.

The fact that a single armed robber could carry this out surprises me. With the amount of money raked in annually by the Bellagio, one would assume they would have the most high tech and advanced security measures in place to prevent such things from happening. It wouldn't come as a shock or lets say it would be less surprising if this were to happen in a smaller establishment or casino, but a large casino like the Bellaggio should have easily handled this situation with proper preventative measures. Seeing as this wasn't the first time this happened, they have to look at why their security wasn't more prepared for this after the last time. They should definitely look into implementing new and updated security systems to prevent things like this from taking place. It waseasily preventable. I mean this wan't an Ocean's Eleven caliber heist that happened here ... it was one idiot with a gun.

I just watched that video. I was surprised to see the lack of security there. I was wondering if they had screening for weapons, but they didnt even have security guards. They will be making some changes soon after this incident is my guess.

Maybe the guards did it just because they knew he was going to steal. It is also possible that the thief act of being a friend of those guards. Things happen, and the lack of money makes many people to commit illegalities. I do not understand why the casino did not say the stolen amount. Maybe the casino want to put a bigger amount.

Were did it happen one time ,..were they got a video about,..it .. I think it was a pokerstars event,...in germany,.. with 3 robbers with guns and they even shoot,...and running around,.. Must be very scary to be there at the time,..because iff they are trying to steal on a poker venet were lotts off people are they must be plain crazy as hell ,...sooo they dont fear to kill someone
