On December 1 Friday, news came out regarding a video footage released by York Regional Police in Ontario, Canada, showing a man being viciously beaten inside an illegal card room which happened on June 9 this year. This is a particularly nasty incident and it was very distressing to watch. I would have liked to have heard what was being said but violence is never the answer and i hope they catch this guy

I always thought the best way to beat an opponent who doesn't know when to shut up is on the table, in silent, so he gets the taste of his worst poison. Killing with white silver gloves, this is the best knockout stomach punch one can give to whoever plays against us. And if we don't like to receive some every now and then, the best is to act other way at the tables, not being mean (besides with the cards) to anyone who sits around.

man i really want to sympathise with the guy but he owed bad people money probably and this is what happens when you get out of line. the kid sounds like a douchebag anyway, this was long overdue.
If he said the s**t he said to Deeb about his Girlfriend/wife i woulda grabbed him by his little neck and would have a charge against me very quickly.
it's nice to see that the perpetrator of this crime has already been identified .... or did not recognize it as yet little evidence ..... it seems to me that this video is enough to prove the guilt of this man ...... especially since he already had problems in connection with its inadequacy

Illegal poker room. That says it all. It is not that hard for an incident like this.
This is one of the most clear videos getting out there, when they seek for help. A clear image of the face and not only. Will be easy to be identified at some point. Captured is another thing.

Yes I read this article and it looks kike this guy like to talk about how ruch he is and how good plays poker and saynthat he is the best poker player in the world, but has mo money to show when he needs. So now he gets some in the face and I think it is because omly his actions.

If this man swears on social sites it's worth being beaten. If he is mad then he should be admitted to a hospital. I see that professional poker players do not have good opinions about him. Need to take measures against him because when he gets the chance he will do much worse and is not good.
I am never for violence but if he is just an annoying pr1ck, then he probably asked for it. I don't know the guy. I don't know the real and or complete story, but you know if you go to this kind of underground poker things that things go wrong and not like in a casino where there is security and cameras and stuff. Not that there is nothing wrong with player poker somewhere else other then a casino.

I once again read this message ... now I did it more carefully ... and drew attention to the fact that the game was going on in an illegal room .... and if the game goes illegally, then all sorts of bad events can happen ... so I do not play in such rooms .... although now in Russia there are very few places for legal games

You can also suffer some bad in the legal rooms. Example las vegas where this year were murders, beatings and robberies. If they can not afford to ensure the security of the players then it would be the case not to play in casinos. In East Europe like in russia or romania you are eaten alive. . Need many bodyguards.

The place looks like a makeshift conference room in a cheaply built warehouse building. The video footage clearly revealed the assailant's face. His identity can be easily pinned down and he will be apprehended by the law enforcement officers shortly. It's a relief the victim wasn't gunned down and killed.

Godoy, it is possible for someone to reply in this thread again and to say he is an old one. He is the "policeman" of this site and likes to harass people. I say it's normal for these casinos to reach an agreement with the police and players to have more protection. The winners do not receive cash, so in this way, they will not be robbed.
