Vanessa Selbst is undoubtedly one of the most successful female professional poker players of all time. I know she holds a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School, so she has the option to practice law in the United States. She still plays poker recreationally, right?

well that is a sad news for the poker world and especially for women poker as it is the retirement of the world female's best tournament player. But for the reason she mentioned, we all understand her decision but IMO she could have stay a little longer in the industry.

And this is a way to do it. Playing poker professionally and retiring at the age of 33 with 12 millions, in her pocket. It is a fortune after all and she is still young, And thats where she will probably invest her earnings, in hedge funds You can make lots of money there if you know what to do.

Yes it is indeed overall winnings and we cant know how much she has spent from it, during her career for buy ins. But since he is quitting, she probably has made a decent profit, unless she did like Negreanu, buying in last year in tournaments for more than he won

What to talk about this woman an icon of the poker world with a lot of prize money and how to think about how she will withdraw from the world of professional poker but I think it is very unlikely that she will leave the poker world of the top games in the world
