888poker reveals to players their location stops comprising its 2018 888poker LIVE tour, starting with London and concluding the year in Lisbon.
According to 888poker's eMagazine, there are a total of eight stops. How hard was it to pick more places, instead of picking London three times. And all of them in the same casino. But better for the players to have tournaments to play live, even at the same places, than none at all.

well yeah kinda strange selection to be honest, 3 times in London in same casino with a total of 8 events... that's almost half of all events in one place... throw in another event in Romania for some reason and only inclusion of north korea would make this tour a success

You have to travel if you want to participate in these live tours from 888poker. I noticed that it's one in my own city but i certainly will not take part in it. I played live with my friends, but my opinion is that - I am an amateur in the live poker game if i go there i would go out very quickly.
Most Eastern European Events are fun for foreigners because of the cheap night life so there is a good chance for a party even if you are out early. But London is neither cheap nor that much fun to be honest so I think they choosed it three times out of convenience.

you are right bowie but these players who come to play on these tournaments still have the feeling that eastern Europe is a dangerous place for them. I say it's more dangerous to play in London because there are more dangers in my opinion. Should be tried in several eastern European countries and these players will not be disappointed. They will see beautiful places to visit if they like it.
Maybe they think that they'll earn more money from more rich UK residents. Or some advertising reasons played their role. Based on their distribution of traffic, they should run more tournaments in Eastern Europe, ex- USSR, Latin America countries, and Canada.

These tournaments are not meant for "residents" that much. Perhaps it has to do with the accessibility of the location. Obviously London must be easier to access than some other parts of the world.

of course is much easier for players to choose London but prices are big for this city which is not so convenient for all because not everyone has the money to stay in hotels with 5 stars . Perhaps it has become a routine for them and is much better. Anyway in the future will be more locations in eastern Europe for live poker.

London Casino Jaspers is an excellent place to start this tour .... and the third stage in this same place is certainly not very original .... if it is a tour then there should be different places for conducting tours as it seems to me .... and the seventh stage of the tour too in the same casino ... is it the headquarters?

pajalnick this tournament takes place in 8 locations. Three times in one place in asper casino in London. I think this place is headquarters because 888poker is based in Gibraltar a territory that belongs to the kingdom of Great Britain and north ireland. That does not matter much, maybe if there are a few pregnant women left behind between these tournaments taking place in London
