Posted by masterTolik: Good afternoon, will there be a new leaderboard in the first half of 2018?
Hi!
We are running 2 weekly $250 freerolls at 888poker in the next few months instead of a leaderboard.
We'll see if we can run a leaderboard at some other site in first half of 2018.
It turns out that this year or the first half of the year there will be no more leaderboard at 888poker? Why did you make such a strange freeroll? entrance is free, but you can make 8 rebuys per dollar, but with the same number of chips, what's the point of this? And why did you decide not to launch the leaderboard? because there were interesting offers and you could make the entrance cheaper.
I liked the old format of leaderboard from 2014 at Full Tilt- freerolls without rebuys with 10 min levels. A nice structure for me, - even came 2nd once. Guess that some new to BRM poker room like Breakout would be a nice place to run a leaderboard.

Not bad having the freerolls after all. You can play whenever you feel like it and you have the time. There is not stress about playing all game to gain a good position in the board. A break is always nice

I did not have the right to play in these leaderboards in the 888poker room but i understand the entry was with rebuys and real money in the last 2 years. There is the possibility for many players to lose money at the end of the session. This strategy must be thought differently. In this way players are more satisfied. 10 cents with 3 rebuys no add-on in every tournament. 1000 players maximum and with leaderboard after 6 months. 40-50 players to earn some money at the end. Now depends also on The BankrollMob. Maybe they agree.
CALICUL, I see that you are very experienced and successful player at Bankrollmob leaderboards, and your suggestion is very good. I vote for it, and let's see if it will be approved by BRM administration. Also I think that some things are depend on poker room.

thank you for your vote Sandmanilo. My suggestion is a variant to be considered by BRM and 888poker. This buy in will surely attract more players and for the show is nice because there are more players and i do not think it will upset anyone. I remember when we played in other rooms with many players. Beautiful times.
Yes CALICUL, I also loved to play at Full Tilt with many players. I remember, there were several hundreds players in each tourney, sometimes more than 1000. And the last leaderboard had not attract enough players even to fullfill the prize zone,
in the last series of freerolls when the entrance to these tournaments became paid, we managed to weed out a large number of outsiders who played like in a normal freeroll ..... probably this is the most convenient format of such tournaments .... who is not interested in the leaderboard there do not play
