I feel so cheated. I know I was not really doing anywhere near as well I would have liked. However I still believe I could have turned everything around If I just got some damn cards that held up long enough to win. I also feel like I let you all down somehow. I know this is not my fault that the site went down, but because I was not doing well at the time when everything went to hell I can not help but feel I was letting BRM down.

Well I still can not get properly logged into the site. I am sort of partially logged in. It said I connected but it is not showing me any table list of tournament list. I also is not acknowledging the money I have online in my account to play with. Hope they get things working soon. My head feels like it is about to explode

I finally was able to get logged on Party. There are no tournaments listed at all right now. I do not know what exactly this means. I will wait until tomorrow to contact support as I am sure they are swamped right now.

As I read in they apologize and they canceled all tournaments .Also tournaments scheduled for 9PM GMT and before will be cancelled and players will be refunded or prize pools will be distributed depending on the running status of the tournament. So they are good after playing 6h.

Well it is now Monday the 5th March 2018. Yesterday was supposed to be a day for glory but it did not happen. You all probable know by now that the servers at Party went down. I was still alive and fight hard to claw my way back up in chips. I had suffered 3 harsh set backs each of which hurt me badly at the time. Still I totally believe I could have turned thing around easily. I only needed 2 double ups to get right back into things again. The tournament got cancelled however and I was denied the chance. I do not know what exactly is going to happen now. we shall see.

partypoker had a total of over US$1 million overlay in tournaments ($215 and $5,200 buy-in) yesterday. Yup, over US$1 million. I guess that's not a negligible amount of money to neither partypoker nor its players.

what is the reason for which these games have been canceled? party poker has fallen or did not have enough players for both games with one million dollars prizes. Does anyone know how many players they had at the 5200$ entrance or 215$? This is very interesting, i expect a response from someone who knows this. I hope next time to be lucky for the players.

Nah, I am chicken and cannot even afford to play such a high buy-in tourney.

well yeah this is really interesting situation... of course one can suspect that this is indeed possible that this meltdown of servers might be caused by the fact they had a massive overlay, but that's only one of the theories. sure it might be just some malfunction or crazy hackers or meltdown due volume etc.

Well after speaking with support today I am not real hopeful. I do not think I will be receiving the entire $215 buy in back. The do not refund the $15 Rake portion of any buy in amount. That means no matter what the are making at least $15 off of the 200+ players who got screwed over on the 4th during the tournament. Also because I was ticketed into the tournament the buy in might just be sent back to BRM. If that is the case I am cool with that. If it does come to me I plan to reuse the money for another big tournament buy in. we shall see what happens. will keep you posted

It's a shame. They are stealing 15$ everybody (if that you say really happen). Maybe the best for you and others 2 who gained the ticket, is to get the ticket back, and have a chance to play this tournament another days. Sucks too, but at least they can do that. They should do that

how is that possible? they should spread prizepool that are combined from players that were playing, and do icm on players that are left in... so I think you will get little more than 215$

I just went and read the terms and condition page. The area which deals with tournament cancellations. I now think you are right. The way support staff said it though had me thinking other wise. In fairness English was not her first language. I guess there was some small misunderstanding on my part thank god.

I told you, thats how stuff works when cancelation accurs... I think I was in that spot couple of years ago on stars... thay do ICM on remaining players... so if you were short stack you should get like 220$ or so because only 1 hour passed and late reg was still on... now what I read is that they will not spread GTD prizepool, but the prize pool that was created... if they was giving GTD prizepool you would be looking at 300$+
