G'day mates
Well he we are now, I had be one of three members of Bankrollmob who received a free ticket to play in the championship KO game.
KO Series #38-H: $1M Gtd (Championship Event) NL Holdem.
I am sure you all know how that worked out.
Well now I find myself have received the $215 buy in back in cash. what do you all think I should do with it? Do you think I should throw the entire amount at another big $215 buy in game , or do you think I should perhaps break it up into small buy in amounts to increase my chances at growing the bankroll over time.
Here is the way I see it... I could perhaps do one of the following...
$215 buy in (1 chance at glory) $109 buy in (2 chances at glory) $55 buy in (4 chances at glory) $22 buy in (10 chances at glory) $11 buy in (20 chances at glory)
Yes I know proper bankroll management would mean playing the smaller tournaments and trying to build up my bankroll over time. The thing is that this original $215 was provided to me as a tremendous opportunity from our own incredible Bankrollmob Admin Staff.
Do you think I should play another big tournament with it again? Do think that is keeping with the spirit of the incredible gifted opportunity? Do you think BRM would want me to use it more than once now?
What do you think? I will make a poll but I will NOT vote in the poll until after several other Mobsters do, as I do NOT want to influence anyone's true feeling in the poll.

Hi Ronin, you buyed my heart when you proposed to do some Mob´s freeroll with a part of your prize... So You could do a $10/20 Ronin freeroll to the mobsters! America Card Room and many others poker´s room have freerolls with this amount But seriously, there are not a technical answer for your question as you know, this is for the chat´s pleasure only. You are a big (and good) boy and don´t need of us for take a decision. Recently a BRM notice said that a player who won $42000 in a long poker´s tournament played all in one spin of the roulette. Is money that rained... You could also take them and, as my friend Sandmanilo said to me, buy your ball´s deodorant Obviously, if you read some of my post, I would break it in little pieces for many tournament´s ticket for maxime my posibilities... In any case, congrats for your compensations and enjoy it!!!

i would play 11$ tournaments and try to cash as many times as you can and if you can make profit , try to raise the stake because as we all know in one hand the best player in the world could lose to the worst player what i mean you can play great and make every right move at the 215$ tournament and still no cash

First of all congratulations again. I think you should first ask yourself if you are really prepared to deal with high buy-in tournaments. I mean, do you have experience in that kind of tournaments? Do you know what types of players you can find? And also, have you played the other tournaments you mention? How did you feel when playing in them? Do you have faith that you can reach good positions? I think you should choose those tournaments where you feel comfortable. Or they do not have to be tournaments, if you prefer regular games. Of the tournaments you mention, I think you should choose the $ 11, if you have not played the highest before

the most beautiful would be to send email to BRM. You should normally to play a 215 dollars game but if BRM accept to play more tournaments with that money then the final decision will be on your side. I would have played in the 215 tournament but you must to send that email to ask. Good luck
Hi mate I hope you are doing good, I think you should go for the $11 buy in for more chance to cash as if you go play one time you can indeed have a bad beat and get knock out even afte lr playing very well...

Sorry ronin, i think you should play the $215 buy in as that was what the ticket was for. Whatever you decide is up to you though i'm only saying what i would do if it was me. Good luck with whatever you decide to do with it.
Morally, I think you should play the same game, as that is what brm intended
I'm agree with this. I would prefer play smaller tournaments, or tournaments I'm comfortable at, but you were given a ticket to the certain tourney. Anyway, whatever decision you'll take, wish you good luck Show'em the mobster's power!

You have made the right decision, RoninHarper. You are destined to play the $215 buy-in tournament no matter what, and I am confident that you will be a force to be reckoned with at the tournament. Good luck.
I would normally agree with mobsters here about bankroll management and all, but with the massive overlay there will be in this tournament, if you are confident about your poker skills, then you might as well take a shot at winning the big thing. 1 Million guaranteed with big bounties is definetly a good tourney for anyone that dreams of winning big. It's free money after all, and you only need a good start in bounty tournaments you need to mix it up.

G'day mates Thank you all for your very kind words of support.
You are the best
I hope I do not you all down. Just for the record what do you all think is an acceptable showing? I mean do I simply need to make some money? Or do I need to finish within a certain range? What do you all think is a good showing from me on this tournament?
