I don't know what's happening with the sounds, but the wrong blinds I can have a guess at.
You don't state what game you were playing but my guess is that it that you were playing a limit game, not a no limit or pot limit game,
In limit games the 2 figures denote the bet sizes and not the blind sizes.
In a 0.05/0.10 game in the first 2 rounds of betting you can raise by 0.05 and in the last 2 rounds of betting you can raise 0.10 ( this is the case for Limit Holdem but other limit games work in a similar fashion )
If you were playing a 0.05/0.10 limit game the blinds would indeed be 0.02/0.05 so that all seems to make sense.
I reckon you just just joined a limit Holdem table not a no limit Holdem table by mistake - I join pot limit tables by mistake on a semi regular basis and don't notice till I try to overbet the pot
The players are ok, you always get the odd gobshite though like with every site.
The sounds are a bit strange yeah. I prefer softer sounds at a table, the alert of AP is harsh, it's like DER DER DER DER!! It does tend to sound strange if you have more than one table open which AP isn't great for.

The usual confusion between "big blind" and "big bet". In limit holdem or omaha the amount of the fixed bet doubles after the turn is dealt. Just play no limit and leave those minbeters alone.
