So trying to get back at it after yesterday's crash and burn late in that PowerFest run and already making up for it in another early morning session.
Playing in the Bounty Hunter 600$ gtd and already in top 5 position and claimed 9 Bounties so far!
The run good continues and hopefully doesn't run out near the end : (. Really could use the boost in confidence and get to a final table and some decent money.

I dont know if you won this one, but at least you got some knock outs A profit is always welcome no matter how much it is. Of course everyone prefers the big pay outs Good luck with it.

98s vs KK, ATs - Nine Eight suited looks so pretty... You faded so many outs on the turn and river. I guess this hand is a typical example of how the bounty element alters players' hand ranges.

Good play and good irish tournament! Thanks for saying how the hand was played. I think you played it well, with a dream flop, that gave you the straight. I do not know what AT would be thinking about to go all in post flop, but surely it did because it was a bounty. I think KK made the mistake of raising very little preflop, and allowed many to enter the hand. In those cases I prefer to do a strong squeeze, or directly all in. Better to play with 1 or 2 in those hands.
