One day I have heard: "Poker is the harder way to earn easy money". Why? Because poker has a lot of little tricks that most people cannot to perceive they exist. When a new player discover one trick he thinks: I am the best player around the world now! So the money just go away. Nowaday I know that poker has 4 main pillars: 1)Skill, 2)Mind Control, 3)Study, 4) Personal finance management. 1) Skill is the ability to get information as much as possible, process it and make the best decision being creative to find new ways to solve problems. 2) For me, all the psychologic aspects about poker summarize itself to the mind of hero. All the villain's psychologic aspects may be converted to mathematic data. Our bigger enemy is ourselves. 3) Study is the only way to improve the ability to process the information, but there's a huge quantity of little tricks you have regard to take one decision on each street. I really recomend that beginners start from math, this can turn the game of hero into a hardened game, but when we are exploiting a lot of spots (even with 72o) supported by study of math and action patterns we can say that we are turning good players. 4) Without money, no one can play, so care about your health money, this is going to make your mind to be cool.

Other players want to win too, and they are usualy quite capable. There is that little thing called rake, that cuts into the bankroll of every player, and if one lands a big tourney win, the taxes are unavoidable.

In live Poker is easyer to win as in online Poker for me you got more information from the players. My last Hand i lost online vs a donk was very hard ,a tourneys after 2 h plays, all other foult ,im in small blind with AK ,so i want takes the blinds we are a few places before money and i want not risk to play the Flop and he hit so i shove allin with 40k and he call 40k he had only a little bit more as i with 5 3 OS. And he win the hand. I can understand he had a better Hand or a other good Hand and he call but with 5 3 OS omg.He risk a good stack with nothing. And you find a lot of players he do this s**t. So my favourite is to play vs players they understand the game,when you play on a table with full of donks is hard to win,you can never Bluff a donky and a Bluff is a part of the game. So i favourite the live game with blinds from 1/2€ or 2/4€ sure you got donks too on this level and donks are nice and bring the most times money but you got on live games as i say before a lot of more information as online,so online i play only small buyins between 1/2 cent till 25/50 cent with a very good bankroll sometime 50/1$ but not often
4 main pillars: 1) skill, 2) mind control, 3) research, 4) personal finance management. .... 1- Here I certainly agree ... the skill should be sure ... 2- I agree here too .. several times I lost when I went to tilt ... 3-hmmm I think I'm weak here ... .4-most importantly as it seems to me in this quartet

I used to play Zynga poker on Facebook and managed to accumulate 4 or 5 billion (not too shubby back in the mid to late 2000s) virtual chips. I thought I was good, so I started playing up to $5/$10 cash games on PokerStars. You know what happened? I blew a couple thousand dollars in less than a month! I majorly sucked!

Playing virtual chips is a kind of poker, playing real money is other. Because poker is a game about people and cards are a simple carrier.

The fact is ... live you can succeed more than online, even Negreanu said this, because online the field with regular players is so tough , everyone learned to play well, they have so many online books for free , a lot of software who improve your gameplay as well and is harder to read opponents .You cant find fishes every hour so most of the times you have to play with this regulars ... and when you play with regulars the skills would count a bit less because all the regulars now have almost the same knowledge so the luck would count more .

cus u need a good amount off luck,..its more skill based ,.but the luck you need a lot ofcourse,.. cus a lot off players donk you out at the river,.. and there are also a lot off good players soo ofcourse it tough to win,.. not mentioning the amount off players that are in a tournament
