I'm a little bit curious as to how the system determaines if a post is worth to get points for or not but it seems that I only get points every other day, even if my posts are pretty similar, like the update on my stats thread for example. I make the updates in the same way every single time but for some reason I only get points sometimes.
This is also the case with some other posts I make. I don't really care that much about the points gained from the forum, they are just a small bonus, it would just be interesting to know how the system works in this regard. Especially considering that my posts are so alike but yet apparently so different.

First, I thought that the system count length of the post, and this works. Because if you write short post, you don't get points for it, for sure. And you said about your statistic update - maybe the mechanism check if the post is duplicate (especially in single thread). And your updates has some features of duplicate. Of course, the content is different, but maybe they have mechanism, who compare this post to the previous post And if the post have same with 50-60-70% - no points for that

Post must have a minimum length, i guess it is 100 characters. shorter ones do not count. And there will not be more than 5 post per 24 hour period be payed. So it is nor calender days but time since the latest posts that count.

You might be onto something here! I've always figured that by "24 hours" it was refering to each calendar day, not that it has to be 24 hours between the particular posts. Just for the sake of it, I'm gonna test this theory out and wait to post my thoughts, that I would post anyway, until the 24 hour mark has passed. The results gonna be very interesting to see.
when I was just starting to write messages on the forum, I also thought that 24 hours between messages is just the next day ... then after I did not receive the points for the messages, I began to withstand a minimum of 24 hours between messages ... and everything became good .. good luck.

I am not very good to know this but i think some people say this goid about 24 hours time, i too write some posts that not get mobpoints but i not watcu very good this situation with points maybe i am not right

Yeah it seems like there has to be 24 hours between the posts for it to work. I won't know for sure until I write my posts tomorrow and make sure 24 hours has past. In any case, it won't affect my forum usage in general, I just got curious when I noticed that sometimes I got points and sometimes I didn't. I'm a little bit of a freak in that way, I want to know how everything works, even if I have no use for the knowledge!

That's 24 rule mention above is correct, erru. I already test it. But sometimes I didn't get mob point even though my post had meets the all criteria. l don't know why until now, and don't care. Maybe the program doesn't working well sometimes

I think it is most important to write when you want something to say and not think about mobpoints, if you get them it is very good, because they are some kind of my bey, but if you don't get no problem too

dont see where is problem and why are you not sure!every member told you how things are going and when you will get points!it need to pass 24 hours from every post that you got 10 points and thats whole story!you can write trough whole day if you have something to say,but points only will account after 24 hours! it has to be bit more then 2 row and you will get,expcept if admin close thread for giving points!

Alright, I guess it is that way and I trust all you mobsters so there is no need to test it.
As you say Gerimantas, the mob points isn't of any concern. As I've said before, I don't really care about them, I was just curious as to how the system work.

The system can sense your intentions. If you post just for the sake of getting points, there's a 90% chance you will not receive any points at all.
If you just forget all about getting Mob Points for posts, and posts because you want to, then you will likely be rewarded with points as a thank you for your activity.

That's the way I go about it! I was just a little bit curious I've said before. I think it's very generous of you to offer this at all so I see no point (pun intended lol) in tricking the system.

you dont get mob points for playing games,but you can get if you guess right doors,right combinations at mob safe or to win at sundays mob draw!but in mob safe and mob draw you have to invest something or to win free shots at mob calendar!you dont have sure win in any game! you can get mob points if you write at forum and its max 50 mob points in 24 hours!

There are rules out there on posting within the forum/opening a thread etc. and there's even a dedicated topic on how to get some points (called Official FAQ thread for Mob Points) so be sure you've read all that before you look 4 answers.
And if the post have same with 50-60-70% - no points for that
