Do you even know who is this piece of sh..., who steal money from state and take it for himself, who lies to people daily, who put stupid and uneducated people to be ministers of police(that is changed few weeks ago), who sell all Croatian company to the strangers etc. I could write things like that several hours and i still wouldnt finish. Do you in EU countries also have corrupted politicians as well?
P.S. there is a lot of rumors that he is actually guy, but newspapers wont publish that cause they are scared.
P.P.S. one example of what is going on in Croatia: one guy got 3 years of prison for having 15 grams of marijuana for himself. Other guy(with good connections to politics) driven drunk and almost killed two young girls(one was 9 years old other 8 years). Both girls was seriously injured and that guy got 1 year and 2 months of prison!!! Im seriously thinking to relocate to some EU country.

If you are gonna relocate i reccomend strongly against Iceland, things are messed up here aswell though not as bad, don't think we got as much corruption but still other things can easily ruin a country(like a bad government and stupid people who run banks to the ground and destroy Icelandic economy completely)

I am missing the point of this thread. It is true that our prime minister would be most fond of POKER HUNKS thread on BRM, (Ivo come an check that thread out). For being crooked, cmon tara admit, ALL of our politicians are bigger crooks than those imprisoned. There is not a single one honest among them. They kiss behinds of EU and those who pay more, thats it. Have You ever wondered why there was no referendum about NATO membership and why it is 99% probability that there will be no referendum about EU constitution or membership. There is less than half support to become EU member but still they are pushing all the laws as if entire country is supporting this idea. All I can say being nationalist socialist, not nazi, is that we need revolution soon and get all those crooks imprisoned and have our secret service track all of their off shore accounts and seize funds on them. Also there are some other solutions but they are not likely to happen because most of people living in Croatia today have low ethical standards because they were poor peasants in former yugoslavia without proper education and are not familiar with critical thinking at all ready to believe any story introduced to them by media. I tried to put lots of it in one sentence but it is much wider topic. For those who don`t know most of those poor peasants came to live in Croatia during war for our freedom as refugees and they will never go back to their home countries because our "GREAT" first president made a deal with Slobodan Milosevic about peaceful relocation on both sides, 1991-1995.

@Ljuban, franjo started this kind of politic, he had idea about 200 rich croatian families, he started to look friendly at "ustase", his idea was not free and democratic Croatia his idea was Serb free and Hercegovina as part of Croatia. He is just a little bit better then Milosevic, just that, slightly better.
@Predobar it is true that all our politicians are all scum, but it isnt their fault why they still are active, Croatian people is mainly uneducated and they dont understand what democratic really means. They will rather collect bottles in garbage then go at main square and demonstrate against that kind of politic.
P.S. There MUST be referendum about EU because EU laws say that citizens must vote for joining in EU. That is only reason why there will be referendum, but when all newspapers and HTV start their pro EU PR, all uneducated people will vote for EU.

Sadly few politicians are actually the idealists they should be, the politicians we deserve. Though I can proudly say as a swede that we actually have had some actually good ones, derserving of the power given to them. But that doesn't just apply to politicians either these days, there are very few idealist voters as well, they just want more money at the end of the month.

A najjaci su mi ove ustase iz inozemstva, dodji malo ovdje zivjeti sa placom od 350E pa ces vidjeti kakav je dom. Dodji vidjeti kakve nepravde i kradje su se dogadjale od 1990. pa sve do danas pod izlikom nacionalizma. Nisu svi srbi losi isto kao sto nisu ni svi muslimani losi. Veliki hrvat mirko norac pistoljem pucao babi u glavu samo zato jer je srpkinja. Je li to za tebe ok??

Cmon come here in big Croatia, come here and try to survive and feed your family with 350-400 Euro monthly salary. Its easy to speak about Fascism and "Ustase" when you live in Netherlands and have good and uncorrupted health care, when you buy food at normal prizes. We here have EU food prize but our salaries are 3 times smaller then EU salaries. Gas prize is also very high, i could write till tomorrow what isnt ok in this poor country. I really love my country and im proud to be croat, but im also realistic and i understand that lot of bad things can be better.
P.S. a sto se tice ustasa, velika vecina ih je pobjegla u inozemstvo kada je trebalo obraniti nezavisnost od srba. Hrvatsku su branili obicni ljudi kao npr. moj otac i moj stric. A kada je zavrsio rat i kada je prosla opasnost vratile se ustase.

There MUST be referendum about EU because
I think that there are 2 options, one is referendum and other parliament made decision with 2/3 majority vote Not sure 100% about that
I also like those "big" croats that fled from country when first shots were fired too and now teach us who stayed how croatia should look like and what nationalism is. Let me tell you one thing, nationalism is not fascism. Period. Those who killed innocent civilians should be prosecuted and all those falsely accused should be freed. Remember Radic, Starcevic, Macek and other peaceful fighters for croatian freedom not just some fascist Hitlers ass kisser like Pavelic who was not patriot at all. If Pavelic were true patriot he would change sides in 1943. as Lorkovic and Vokic proposed, but no, he had them imprisoned once he realized that he will not stay in power. Also "big" croat Pavelic gave italy our entire coast. Remember that most of the true peaceful croats like those mentioned above never agreed to take part in NDH government.
I have special thing with those that fled from yugoslavia as political dissidents and are now coming back as biggest patriots, while most of them was just trying to escape from military service. There are those who don`t want to serve in croatian military as well, it has nothing to do with nationalism its just YOU people. Because of that we have cases like that "big" croat from canada, fled somewhere in late 50`s to avoid military service, that lives 9 months in canada and 3 months, summer months, in croatia and has his house covered with croatian flags, checkerboards, statues of Tudjman and tortures entire small town with tourist in it playing through speakers placed on his balcony croatian national anthem every morning in 6:30 am. You gotta love those. I can already see how that will strengthen our economy and international relations. Most recent thing. War veterans protest in Knin that took place yesterday where veterans were demanding from government to fulfill promises they will have government owned houses and apartments they occupy at the moment transferred to their ownership once 10 years have passed. For those that don`t know, those houses and apartments are from local serbs that were forced to move by SERB forces as part of Milosevic-Tudjman agreement and Tudjman lead government put some short time limited offer for serbs to claim their property if they fled from the country which some 95% or more never did because no one informed them in the first place. Same thing happened in Bosnia in serb held territories but with croats being the ones fleeing and moved to Knin and surrounding area with promises they will get houses if they do so. Here is the result. But no one is allowed to make documentary about that and if you talk loudly about it you are automatically labeled as not being croat enough. Well sorry for me being true honest croat which wants best for his country not his own benefit.

Here is what Sanader thinks that is "Democracy": Because facebook group "I bet i can find 5000 people who hate Sanader" police arrested guy who started that grouop. Police said that the reason is picture of Sanader with naci symbols, the problem is that there is a lot of other pro naci facebook groups but police see problem only when somebody criticize Sanader. Now its confirmed that real democracy dont exist in Croatia.
P.S. pro Sanader group "I bet i can find more than 7000 people who LIKE Sanader" has 19 members.

WHO CARES ABOUT SOME POLITICAL FIGURE CALLED SANADER OR MILANOVIC. They, all major parties, are throwing these shows to hide real problems like next year budget and new so called social health care reform which is everything but not social or health care related. New 20 year plans for energy production is made and public debate is closing in less than 2 weeks, 12 days if im correct, which is proposing, listen carefully, 2 coal plants and 1 nuclear power plant, both very economic and ecologically safe for small country like Croatia, where 2 coal fueled power plants will pollute in their immediate vicinity at least 5% of total land area in Croatia and they plan to put nuclear fueled power plant in midst of our rich and arable land or put nuclear plant in immediate vicinity of its capital and most populated and developed area in Croatia, enclosing it between Slovenian nuclear power plant in Krsko and one that is about to be built. How come none of TV stations are reporting on economical problems this global crisis has brought to our country, how in worst scenario there are 120,000 people to lose their jobs out of 1,2 million. How this crisis will reflect on our economy which is totally import dependent. How Croatian central bank, blocked our banks from taking more loans because HRK was starting to lose value, 3% in one day and headline of that particular article was not even touching this topic where i read it. You have to read through very dull and uninteresting articles in newspapers to read those information, but Milanovic and Sanader are on front pages with their photoshop Christmas feuds. I could not care less about that. Both crooks, different sexual orientations, what i want to hear is what did they do for our country. How are they defending nations interests in EU negotiations or at least try to explain what will EU bring to us what we cannot provide ourselves if we wanted to. We can declare and enforce all laws without becoming a part of EU but we won`t. I just wonder for what all those people, who died defending our country, died for. Both Milanovic and Sanader want to be in EU parliament one day, one because of money and other because of great opportunities to meet self alike sexually oriented people and EU parliament is full of them. You don`t want to know how would i deal with all those politicians. People give their votes to one particular political party and after the election you have LEFT-RIGHT-CENTRAL-LIBERAL coalition which is in power in some region and they all try to enforce politics from their party HQ which results in situations where some regions don`t have stable local rule until next election take place and saga continues because of those post election coalitions. CROOKS.

i was 2 young 2 fight in the war, but if i was of fighting age i would have fougt for my country HERCEG BOSNA u croats in that fake and not the true croatia didnt even help us when whe were atackt while my uncle dit fight in vukovar, every one know that true croats come from Herceg Bosna and that de rest are communist loving titoboy and girls... with ur libro lets al life in one big counrty and be nice 2 one a nother views, wake up and smell the coffee we need a counrty without the serbs and the bosniaks, ZA DOM!!!!!

you talk about serb and bosniak free croatia but you self live as foreigner in netherland, what a POOR thinking...usualy you expect from immigrants like you a better understanding, tolerance and open minded. so ljuban, why arent you yet in croatia "ZA DOM" if your such a nationalist ? this exactly fits to you what a other guy said before: the ustase flee when its war and have big mouth when its peacefull. no we dont drive ferraris nor gold teeth, but at least we have health teeth compared to some down there who cant afford a dentist. so yes we definatly have a better living then them else you would be gone long ago "ZA DOM". so I understand their complaining when they say try to live and feed your family with 350€ a month.

@Ljuban LOL most croats from herceg-bosna are idiots!!! There are some normal persons there but most of them are nationalists. Every normal croat now that. Mayor of Zagreb came from Hercegovina, he is corrupted and he steal money from Zagreb citizens. He works with Sanader, witch proves what Predobar said, they all are same.
And if you use "ZA DOM" one more time i will report you to BRM staff for pro fascism text.
I want answer from you, "Big Croat" Mirko Norac killed very old woman with bullet in her head only because she was serb. IS THAT OK FOR YOU?? CMON answer you big "croat" is killing of serbs only because they are serbs ok for you? Cause if it is, you are same as nationalistic serbs who killed croats in 1991. But that is something that we normal croats know, Ustase=radicals from serbia.
