Today pokerstars is starting a 2 week long series with multiple progressive knock-outs each day
As this is totally fitting my playstyle i will definitely play , as a matter of fact ill start the kick off today with the 109$ PKO, 300k GTD. which will have an insanely large playing field where there will be great value for your money if you are used to these kind of tournaments and structures.
Any other BRM members planning to play the series?
I wish you good luck in this series .... I think you will be able to show good results .... I don’t play at PokerStars .... I used to play, but then I gradually switched to PartyPoker and 888poker ... now these are my main sites .... I rarely look at PokerStars ... I hope to see messages about your winnings soon

You are starting this series with a quite high buy in for the most of us here Unfortunately it didnt go well for you, but you are saying that you have made some KO's If these have covered your buy in, or a big chunk of it, then it wasnt that bad Better luck in your next games.

... < ...Is this the series where if you knock somebody out,....you ALSO get an entry to a $5K freeroll....? I see there are a bunch of those freerolls in the PokerStars client...! That would be a nice added bonus...!

So jeffaboy do you play more tournaments in series of knockout, maybe you have some better results because first tournament not so good results, not big lose money too i think because some knockout make, but not much money win too

I kind of low-key not liking the pace of these kinda tournies. My playing style is better when I take chances and bluff some but most of the times when I play PKO the whole table is operating on a very narrow selection of hands to play with and not much wiggle room there to bully them into bad decisions.

Yeah the whole table operates around getting knock outs / when to call and not to call , however ull be more likely to get value from a good hand because of the bounties which is what i like. luckily everyone has their own preffered format cuz if we all liked the same thing the tournaments would be even more crowded haha
------------ Playing the 55$ in 30 minutes which is turbo and i might play the 215$ hyper turbo aswel in 1.5 hours , mincashed another of the 109's yesterday went out 2 hands after itm AK couldnt hold it vs villains pocket 3's

Never liked the knock out games, Too many callers and all inners, trying to get your scalp Makes the game very hard to play, especially when you are a player that do not rebuy over and over again. Getting lucky though, can make you money, even from the knock outs only, especially when it is a progressive one Good luck in your games jeffaffa

I know, I know. If I take effort and have a good feeling of it I have zero problems playing tight throughout, I am just sayin' I have a harder time getting the prefereable matchups within PKO's than in any other kind of tourneys.

You play big buy in tournaments, 55 dollars buyin and then mayne 215, wow this is really serious money, you must be good poker player and also you have many dollars in your bankroll. I most times deposit minimum 10 dollars and play some sit and go for 0.25 or 0.50 biggest buyin is 1 dollar
