Without betting rounds this is more of a casino game, than a game of poker. I doubt that this version will last, once the novelty factor wears thin. As players have basicly no decisions to make while playing this game.

They should just call it lady luck, LOL ... Yeah, this is giving way too much props on your luck rather than your knowledge.
Of course, this game is more Fun and the ability to pass the time before the tournament .... Because there is nothing at all from poker at all ..... only combinations .... And it’s logical to choose cards in this game .... how the rule is won by some ridiculous card .... for example, 2 and 9 of various suits .... or something like that .... here is such an observation about the game

I do not know how this format is because the game did not appear to me. At you write free spin in the lobby. To me write Special in the lobby. Maybe it takes a few days until it is introduced into my country. Who knows how it works this in 888. I think they do not introduce at the same time in all countries.

I mean more and more companies relying these kinda gimmicks when introducing new forms of play but I've yet to find one where your chances of actually winning something are better than at the rest of different options for playing some cards.

Sorry if I'm being a dummy (I had day-surgery yesterday and still a little foggy lol) - but I don't quite understand the difference between how this plays and regular Texas Holdem?
5 community cards plus 2 random hole cards? Isn't that exactly the same? Do the streets play-out the same?
I get the originally there's "8 cards" but that is b******t when you're being assigned from a random number generator - there might as well be 20 or just 2, you're still getting 2 random cards and NO more information about the cards you don't have... Unless that is it? Do you get to SEE the 6 cards knocked out of play??
Is there anything different in how it actually plays? Would love to hear!

From your description, perhaps it is more like a lotto? Like you pick your 2 cards then ALL 5 community cards flip and the best hand wins??
When are the betting rounds? How many, no-limit or limit, betting rules, etc?

Yeah, everyone who enters gets the same 8 or however many cards to select 2 from. so its a lot more like gambling. and you can have 30+ people sharing the pot. depending on number of entrants etc.

It looks like a lotto game You have to pick two and wait for the outcome, at the end. Why does it say "players with the strongest combination" ? All players are getting the same cards to choose from. I have been looking for a video, but no one has posted a game yet, to see what this is all about.

Well, technically the lottery tickets are winning when you have the 'strongest combination' after the draw, but yeah, this games doesn't make sense if you plan on winning frequently because it's fluctuates so much.

I'm worried by that, something is happening in poker´s world! PokerStars started a path of new kind of games based in poker, to the poker´s players. All of us thought that Amaya group was doing changes in the traditional structure because they only think in money and don´t knew the poker. But now 888 makes a similar move...maybe the traditional game is not attracting new players and it could die?

As long as the "traditional" poker games are there, you have nothing to worry about. They are creating these games mostly for the new players, that like to gamble a lot. This game doesnt differ much, from an all in game. The only difference is that you get to choose your cards, from a limited board. Thats all.
after I won this game a little when it first appeared I lost a lot .... much more than I won ..... because this game defies no logic and there is nothing at all from poker except a combination .... in general, I will no longer play this kind of poker ... didnt know anything about this new type of poker at 888poker,but this is just another way how to people play faster poker and ofcourse that they take more and more money from players,at least on rake!for 888 would be better to upgrade their software or to make new one,because this one is very bad and old!
