Hey chkndinner, you are abandoned your own thread! As you can see, a lot of people liked to chat about tournaments and Sit an Go. I make a couple of thread about it, but I haven´t good luck with the mobster's answers. I think that we, the sons of ICM and Nash, have to make improvements this topic given continuity to our threads...

Also it is important situation that you can turn 50 dollars in 200/300 but then next month lose all, so maybe questions sound better it is possible to make 4 times bankroll every month, and i think it is very hard thing to do

If you play live poker, you can win this money, this is not a problem and you can be successful easier, than with online poker. In online poker you have a fearsome opponent in addition and that one is the software, which is very dangerous. Then there are good players which are more than in live poker.

I don´t understand the difference that you make between live or online poker, about the profit CALICUL. I think that the only big difference between these two formats is the hands per hour that you can play. But Gerimantas make a good point: the real matter about making money in a sustainable way is when you know what are you looking for, and work for that

About the profit is that: you can earn money with live poker if you are a good player. With online poker it can be harder many times. You can try and maybe you're lucky to make with $ 50 more money. At least once in a lifetime you must to play one live poker tournament or more.

With a starting stack of 50 USD in a table, it is only a couple of double ups to reach that goal. You can see such a play often in all games and levels. You dont have to start with the whole 50 though. You can buy in for 20 if you are in a rush and then try to double up. I believe in PLO is easier And when you reach your goal you take out your profit and start over from low. No need to have all the money in risking it.

I will do it this year, I told you in another thread. And I will make a big thread here to tell it with a lot of pride, whatever the results can be. But I don´t understand why you think that playing online (if you have skill enough) you can`t win the same -or much more- profits than in live tournament. I think that is otherwise

I do not believe this because in online poker the software is a very dangerous enemy. I played more years and it is disappointing for me to say that: these softwares he was an enemy as big as North Korea vs. South Korea if it is to make a comparison. Maybe you do not believe me but it's the pure truth.

Few years ago, when i started playing in ipoker sites, PLO h/l, there was a players playing micro limits, 0.01/0.02 buy ins mostly, and some times 0.02/0.04. Hos worst day was 40-50 USD. He was making a killing, following the same play style over and over again. But he was extremely lucky. He was winning like eight out of ten all ins

It's a great luck for this player but me i did not have such a luck, in all my years with online poker. If i could have won more all-ins then i would be able to turn $ 5 into $1000. It's much harder to make with $ 50 up to $10k but with big luck in all ins is much easier.

Well, thinking about it, I make something like this challenge, in microscale. I was playing sit and go of $ 0,10 first, and then $ 0,40 Buy-In, 10 max in 888poker and could make $ 45 with a starting bankroll of $ 4 in a month and a half, playing no more than twelves sits per day. So the question that Max has made is answered

If you are a good player you can make with $ 4 dollars in one month $ 800. It is true that it is not easy but at least once a year i think, you can do it and in the other 11 months to lose what you earned in a month. This means that you played for a year and you did not win anything. That would be odious, and it's better to make a profit than to play and to lose constantly.
