I see a lot of you are wondering how ivanjkp is making all that money from just freerolls, couse as u say there arent a lot of freerolls out there, but the truth is there are, there are a lot of sites that offer freerolls on a lot of platforms, couple of which are Cards Chat, Vip Grinders, Jackpot freerolls and others more, and i also play these freerolls, and all i can say is i see ivanjkp playing most of them just like me, we are cheep skates we balkan people Big Smile hard times and all...

I know there are several freerolls related to platforms and so on.

But to win over 200 $ a month with them ... seems a difficult job as there are a lot of gamblers on the freerolls.
It will be possible to reach that goal but every month it would be much harder.
But if you can make 200 $ a month on freerolls .. .it would be worthwile to invest that money on money tables, SNG or MTT.
A second option is to find someone as staker...

Lot of this sites like Jackpot freerolls have Leader boards of their own you also make money on them, back in the day when i played poker every day on many platforms in freerolls from this site i usually made another 40-50 bucks plus from their leader boards, not to mention what ever you made from the freeroll too, so its a win win win situation, so when ivanjkp said he makes 200 from freerolls in a month i know it more then possible, u can even check for yourself, go on the site (since i can not post links in here) and then check their leader boards and youll find inav there Big Smile

Well It s good for him if he can make that money each month out of nothing.

But what I meant to sat is that he can better use that money as an investment to start playing at non-freerolls. To play several freerolls a day and to get into the money --> takes lots of time.

So if you can make money on freerolls on regurlar basis I guess you can make also money in SNG or MTT with a buyin of 1 $ and the prizes will be better.

It would be worth to place some money on that.

Has anyone here ever actually build up a decent bank roll from free rolls alone? I got sarted with a free 50 back in pokers hey day. Then grew it with freerolls, rake back, gift offers etc. And of course good old fasioned winnings

Yes i agree there were more free games to play back in the day, then there was this fasting period for a long stretch of time, but now a days, there are a lot of free games again, you asked if u can make a decent bank roll from free rolls alone? well it depends, what your goal is, if its steady income of about 100 to 300 bucks a month yeah its possible (aldou thats peanuts for u canadians, but here on the balkan peninsula its good money, standards and all), but if u want to build a decent bank roll and continue to play for money from there, yes u can, it will take you month or two depending on how big of a bank roll u want to build.

Wow, $100 - $300 a month? Thats pretty slick, I gotta find out where you're finding all these freerolls Smile Actually that exact kind of arbitrage is why I originally got into poker. I wanted to travel and have a way to make some income online, like you said $100 - $300 US can go pretty far in some places in South America and Asia too. Although teaching English pays better these days at least in Asia.

I personally think it is chance to make some money and create bankroll from free money when lay in freerolls and the later make withdraw have money in your wallet and make deposit when some good promotion is active. so with do this you have god chance to make bigger bankroll not use your money and not have to be very good players too

To built up a decent bankroll from scratch in a short time is only possible if :

- you have a certain level op pokerskills
- you have lots and lots of time
- you have accounts at a lot of pokersites, so you can play several freerolls at the same time. Sometimes this is limited due to gambling legislation in certain countries.
- search for interesting freerolls --> nice prices vs small playfield

As I have a job + family to take care of … this is impossible for me. Secondly in Belgium 200 $ is peanuts. For this money I can NOT feed my family for 1 week (2adults + 2 children).

But still respect for those who try it in the freerolls way. But I would suggest to invest the winnings in freerolls into MTT, SNG with buy-in or cashtables and so try to built up a bigger bankroll and climb to higher stakes.

Congrats, you already better off than most of us, lol...
I usually make long term bets on sports and whenever they are payed out do the deposits from the winnings to other sites (inc. pokersites), so I don't spend any excess money for gambling.

These days almost every site offers a variety of games consisting of poker, casino, live casino, betting etc, so usually is impossible to determine how much money someone gained or lost just from playing poker.

Making money from on-line poker takes time and requires self discipline, so many regular players try to increase their bankrolls with aforementioned ways since we've been living fast these days.

Answer to that question may only give hard core poker players who have not yet succumbed to casino offers connected with poker accounts.

I am pretty sure that serious gamblers use spreadsheets to be able to follow their monetary situation (especially in sportsbetting) and in poker your handhistory actually could help to figure out which game/table/chipcount etc. is the most optimal way for you to earn/maximize your profit, but these things are used by players who are seeing this as one source of income rather than a hobby.

I'm one of those hardcore poker guys actually, I have never deposited to a Casino offer. You play at a loss to the house with casino no matter what, you can't eke out an edge like in poker. The only casino winnings I have would be from some promo free spins or whatever tied to a poker account. Even those would be almost non existant as they're mathematically designed to be near impossible to playthrough without loosing the money.
