partypoker ambassador and former British pro boxer Carl Froch showed the other poker pros that he still has what it takes to knock down his opponents.

I dont think i have ever seen or read before of an ambassador winning a tournament. It looks like the system works The tournament though was a very small one, and i bet that the wining amount was not "important" for him at all. Only the fame would matter out of it

Maybe you have not seen an Party Poker ambassador who win in a online tournament. The number of players is very small and with good players, but even if Carl Froch was a boxer not a professional poker player, this thing it may happen. I saw in PS more ambassadors who managed to win 1st place in few tournaments and i think one in 888Poker a woman. They are professionals and they made it. About Carl Froch he did a really good game if he managed to win this tournament.

so does this make him a poker pro now?? he would have a better chance to succeed than normal people because he has a bigger bankroll and PP would of given him a lot of resources not many get to use

I doubt too that this makes him a poker professional player. I also agree to the fact that he probably can spend money into higher buy ins, without even care. Besides being an ambassador of party poker, he may be getting entrances for free to some tournaments

100% + I was meaning too that he would get training from them and other ambassadors for free so that he will know what hes doing. and hes been playing for a few years now - so definitely better than average

I personally think it is not very high roller when you win tournament anf first prize win amoujt of only 12 thousands of dollars. Most tournaments where really hogh roller play entry cost minimum of 10 thousands

A VERY EXCELLENT BOXING FIGHTER ALWAYS winner and in the world of poker that assists to the aggressive sport the higher you go the more you win because like in poker and boxing the aggressiveness allied to the strategy and everything that is enough to form and to become a champion
