Probably another old password recycled. That is why you can see registered players
while the password hasnt been released yet.
In this forum there is no option to sen pm at all.
All communication is public.
Making it easier to control all messages and avoid troubles that my occur this way Smile

By the way, these tournaments are finished? I didn´t see any more of them in the freerolls page. What a sad news! They were good freeroll with a big prize ($ 300) and not so many players than a lot of similar tourney of that level. I was used to them, will miss them despite I no won any dollar there Big Smile I actually winning some bucks in the current daily freerolls!

That grey snow site sounds really interesting. Are you playing cash games there as well? How have you found their 3% table fee instead of usual rake? Is there a large player base? Also if people leave your table does the system automatically add more to the table? Or are you forced to leave eventually paying the fee as the table dwindles?

Hi Arithmajik, I only play tournaments there but I can say that the traffic is low, so I supose that the traffic in cash might be low too. Think that to a freeroll with $ 50 of prize there could be 180/230 players, and to the same kind of game and prizes maybe 3000 players in 888poker or 6000 players in Poker Star. Although they are very soft (fishes) GL!

Why do you play tournaments at grey snow? Don't they charge similar rake as everyone else on tournaments? I thought the real unique thing about the site was the way they didn't rake cash games? Do they offer good rake back on tournaments there?

I was working for you (then I will send you the bill):
"By playing on GreySnowPoker, you benefit from a system that charges zero rake during hands played and, instead, takes a 3% service fee from players leaving a table. We are loyal to players who are loyal to the tables – a longer session never demands more fees paid for your play.

Instead of following industry standards and raking as much as we can justify - before sprinkling a few pennies into the pockets of lucky players - GreySnowPoker is loyal to its players from the get-go: every time you sit at a table, 1% of your buy-in is awarded to you in comp points which can instantly be converted to hard cash.

It’s that simple: the GreySnowPoker stewards of the poker ecosystem give you direct cash back on your stack every time you sit down. Bring in $100 at the table, and $1 is rewarded back to you immediately!

Tournament players, we have not forgotten about you! We reward you back 25% of the tournament fee. As an example, if the fee is $5.00, we will award you with $1.25 in comp points."
Last point: I only play SnGs and MTTs Cool

Each poker room can opt for its commission. If some poker rooms have a too high or too low commission, does not matter. Only players choose where they want to play. If the commission is too high, then you do not play there and you move somewhere else.

Oh I see I knew about the cash game discount I forgot they also kicked back some of the tournament fees. What is the default fee for a tourney there, say a $10 one? $10+$1? In that case it works out to a guaranteed 25% rakeback, which isn't bad.

Isn´t bad and there are very soft fields. I play tournaments as I told, and there the formula is very good. You have tourney with less than 200 players that in 888poker or PokerStars might be with 3000 or 10000 players with the same prizes structure. Is very good for me I advise you that try it with some cash tables. Blink

It's definitely an interesting site that's doing something a little different. I'm intrigued enough to likely give it ago after I catch up on a few things. Especially if there's loose competition, who doesn't love going fishing? Smile

This is a good opportunity to create a small bankroll my friend. Why play in some rooms with 3000 players when you can play there with 200. When more players are registered you will have an amount to play many games with they. Great success in this new room.

Thank you CALICUL! I used to play there one or two freerolls daily. These are the best business to go there because they have it like their "fish hook" and the relation between the number of players and prizes are the best. I was looking for other tournaments and there the matter isn`t of that way. You have to pay $ 3,30 to play a tourney with only $ 30 guaranteed Sad

For now it's a small room but with a lot of ambition they can attract players.
What matters most is that the man who deals with the marketing of this poker room must bring some good ideas.
If she does not do it then Grey Snow will come in anonymity. Sad
They can attract players and if they have enough then the tournaments will be much better. Smile

Are you saying that being a small site is an advantage because the player pool is smaller and you'll be able to get a better feel for the players and play with them again more often? If so that's an interesting take. I'd of thought bigger sites were better as they''l likely have more fish to find. Feel like smaller sites are more likely to attract the more skilled players that understand the value of a unique rakeback structure such as snows.

If it is a smaller size and you are playing specific games, then it is easier to mark players
and play accordingly.
If for example you are playing PLO games, no doubt you will bump into the same players
more frequently. After a while with some, you know what cards they are having according
to their moves Smile

No, CALICUL might explain it better (think that to you english is one of your native languages, to us is s strange thing), but he told about the way that the beginners rooms might attract players to there. We were talking about it in a thread of Net Bet and the way that iPoker net is losing players in the last years.

I did not refer to this. I was referring as our friend in BRM to play these games with few players, and to create a bankroll. After that Maragatero need to wait for a while until players are registered. In this way this new room will have better games.
