So, for the coming 2 weeks I'm gonna play a number of MTTs in the KO Series promotion that PartyPoker is hosting. In order to keep track of my stats for this event I will share my results with you guys here at BRM.
My buy-ins during this event will be either $2.20 or $3.30. I don't have the bankroll to play bigger events but if I get a big score I might take a shot at the higher stakes.
I may or may not use the re-enter feature. It all depends on how big the blinds are and how confident I'm feeling at the moment.
The number of games played will be detetmined based on how much time I've got. I'm not gonna schedual my life around playing in this event.
All updates will be given in a new post with detailed stats such as buy-in, bounties, cashes, finishing position and number of players. It will also show my total buy-in /profit stats as well as ROI.

just can wish you luck on this series and would be nice that you win something on some of this tournament and who know, maybe you will earn amount for bigger buy in!it would be nice to try at least one big tournament before this seires finish!good luck!
Got TT on a 8 high flop, ran into QQ and after that I was pretty much on life support for the rest of the game. Didn't help my case that I was basically card dead for the last 30 minutes or so either. It's a shame, I really felt like this could have been a final table for me but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

You had a nice start, making a profit. Lets hope that the rest of your games, will have the same result. All you need is to play your A game, you sre not new to it, you have experience along with some luck, in order to keep getting paid. Congratulations on your wins, with better finishes, in the future.
AK suited, low on chips so all-in preflop. Got called by the table maniac with J9, and naturally the flop hits the board with 979 and out I went less then 30 spots away from the money!
I just couldn't catch a break on this one. It was just one of those games where I lost every single flip, I got outdrawn by donks. Basically, nothing was working so I'm kinda surprised I didn't bust earlier...
And my stroke of luck continues... First time around KK got busted by AA. Second time around my AQ on a AA3 board lost against an A4 when a 2 and a 5 hit the table.
JJ got busted by some random cards, Top pair lost to lucky straight, trip aces lost to a flush from 4 spades on the board. Don't really know what to say, today was a complete disaster and my bankroll took a huge hit! I think the most sad part about today isn't the fact that I lost a bunch of money, it's the way I lost it. Just stupid b******t happening all the time with no exceptions. I guess it was just one of those days, but it really sucks!

You're out of shape but that does not mean you can not go back and to have a nice profit after after your time is over and start the service again. Be ambitious and optimistic and after that we can see better results in your tournaments. Good Luck.
After hitting top pair on the flop I faced a maniac forcing me all-in so I took a shot as he had been caught bluffing a number of times in the same way before and I had some notes on him. He turned out to have nothing but air. But in standard fashion his air turned into a straight flush on turn and river... Talk about rubbing it in!
So still no change from yesterday, but I'm hopeful things will turn around soon. And honestly, it has to if I'm not gonna be forced to abandon these MTTs days and start grinding my bankroll up again.
All I need is one really good score tho so I'm not completely screwed yet.
Stats for the next games will be updated as the night goes on. Total stats will be shown by the end of the session.
Bullsh!t continues... Finished 105 and 104 got prize, min cash was $5.29. The hand that screwed me over was 99 with 9 on the flop. A bully with massive stack tried to scare me away, I called and after both turn and river gave a diamond, he got a flush and knocked me out...

You are doing something wrong man, you should really study your game, coz you are leaking money like a broken pipe, you already lost your profit and now you are sinking in the loss territory, my advice, stop this challenge, review your game, and play couple of SNG and freeroll tournaments and see where u stand again, or take couple of days off poker

Honestly, I'm just running into bad beat after bad beat. I've looked at my game and like 80% of the time when the chips go in, I am ahead but still lose due to suckouts. 37.3% of my all-ins on the flop was lost due to my opponent hitting both turn and river.
I'm pretty sure I'm just in a downswing right now. I can't do anything more then putting my chips in when I'm ahead, right?
I'm not gonna play tonight anyway, I'm busy doing real life stuff so I'm probably back at the tables tomorrow.

Lets hope that things are as you are saying, and the downhill will end soon. You are down, but not big so far. A good win from just one game could cover all that loss. Plus you are paying bounty games and you are getting something back. But some times bounty games are trickier, since many players, have a wider spectrum of cards to call your game. Good luck.

Didn't get the chance to play yesterday but I'm most likely gonna be able to play today! I'm hoping for a better session then my last one. I've got a good feeling for tonight really, so fingers crossed!
It started to turn around for me but then again I lost to a turn+river bad beat... It really sucks but I guess I should be happy that I'm at least making a little bit of profit instead of just pissing money away...
Let's hope the next couple of games goes somewhat decent as well.
Went well until my laptop freezed or something so when I clicked fold I accidentally called 30% of my stack with crappy cards and I had a hard time recovering after that. Still made some profit so I suppose I should be happy with it... But I'm really not since I feel like I had a real shot to go a lot further in this tournament!

so you had again some winnings and you have some profit in total!its not big,but still you have time to earn something more!its hard to play on lower buy in tournaments and to win on every one!if you could just come on final table at one tournament it would be big profit for you!

At least your last session was a better one, and you managed to decrease your loss. I dont know the loyalty scheme in party poket, but probably you must be winnings, something in return for your buy ins, like points, for tournaments, tickets etc. This could help too to get you out of the hole faster Good luck.

Yeah I'm still hopeful that I will finish this promo with a profit. As you have said, I only need one really good finish to make that happen!
@Mober Unfortunately, due to the new stupid gamling regulations here in Sweden, I can't take part in any loyalty program, points that can be converted or any other bonuses. Even rakeback is off the table. So basically, what I get is all I have, no extra income in any way. That has made it a lot harder for me to earn the extra christmas money I usually get. My biggest hope is to get a big enough bankroll to play in the higher stakes and see if I can make a profit there as well. I have played the $5 DoN games before with a profit so I know I can do it, it's just a matter of getting the bankroll for it now.
------------ Well, today is going really bad so far. But for ones it's not due to bad luck. I'm actually playing like a complete fish tonight, I've got no idea what's happened to my game! I'm just making one bad decision after another and just pissing away my chips over nothing...
I need to get my head into the game and start playing like I normally do! I'm still alive in the MTT I've started so I'm not out yet, but I'm in kind of a bad position really and blinds are starting to kill me. Let's hope I can figure this sh!t out before it's too late!
I did start to play better, then I lost with AK against A9, preflop all-in with 99 vs 88 and the final hand that was the nail in the coffin when I had litterally only 4 or 5 BB left, JJ all-in, got called by A3, flop was QK2, turn Q, river K så his A sidekicker won that hand... Well, this one just wasn't meant to be! All I can hope for now is that the next game works out better and that I've gotten my crappy play out of the system.
This was probably the absolute worst day I've had in ages. I think in total spread over over two MTTs and about 3,5 hours of play I only won about 20 hands, and that's counting the ones when I was BB and everyone folded. This last MTT for the day was just plain stupid. I had worked my chips up to 20th something place and then I lost with AK and A6K on the flop against opponent who had JJ and hit his J on the river. After that I was low on chips and never recovered. I made some small increases in chips but they were instantly shut down by more stupid things. QJ lost against 89 and the hand right after I was dealt AK and went all-in, got called by KQ and lost because 4 hearts absolutely had to appear on the board...
I know, it feels a lot like I'm blaming all of my losses on bad luck, but when I am ahead in about 80% of the all-in situations and still lose due to unlucky turn and river cards, I can't really do much about it. The only thing you can do is put your money in when you are ahead and trust that in the long run you'll end up as the winner. It just seems that my long run never comes to the point where I actually take home a win...
I'm probably making a few mistakes here and there which could improve my game but since I'm not an MTT player normally I don't feel like fixing these tiny leaks when I, in theory at least, still should end up with at least some profit based on how I play...

I didnt know about the gamble laws you are having. They seem pretty silly to me. You are able to play in a poker site, but you cant take benefit from the reward system they are having? Another fine moment for the politicians there. Build them a monument i say

hm,you had two losses yesterday and both of them were with rebuy!its was not good situation for you and its not easy to be on total minus last day!with rebuy you had biggers losts, but you still have time today and in next days to back this amount at least!good luck!
Yet another lucky turn+river knockout. First AQ vs JJ with T3Q flop, turn is A and river K giving him the straight. Then a few hands later, my TT on a JT5 flop lost against the same guys AJ when K and Q hits turn and river for another straight. I was then down to less then 2 BB and got dealt 66, pushed all-in, got called by one guy with 55. Guess what, he rivered a f*cking 5!!
I'm really starting to get frustrated with this huge string of bad luck I've been having. I've never had such a bad run in my entire life before! And when I am ahead at least 75% of the times the chips go in, how the f*ck do I always end up losing!? The few times I do win, it's just for some small amount of chips that doesn't really help me, but anytime it could have a really positive impact on my stack, I lose.
I've gone over my game a bunch of times now, I've analyzed the hands that turned things bad for me, as well as my gameplay in general. The math says that this really shouldn't be happening. 87% of the times the cards are shown before or on the flop, I'm ahead. Of those 87%, I've only won 18% (meaning 16.5% of the total amount).
I mean, with those numbers, I'm actually surprised I haven't lost more money then what I have. I really need to catch a break, soon! I've only got 3 more days that I can play before I go back to work. That means at he very most I've got another 9 games before this promo is over for me.

Your loss has increased once more. Maybe you should re evaluate the whole thing, start playing different games, and maybe lower buy ins? But with the volume you have played so far, we can say it is not over yet. So cross your fingers and hope that your luck will change. Good luck.
