The North American player already has 13 gold rings and more than one million dollars in 88 charges in the circuits organized by the WSOP.
Professional poker player Maurice Hawkins became the new monarch of the WSOP Circuit by winning his 13th ring at the NLHE Monster Stack at the Horseshoe Tunica casino in Mississippi, after beating Hamid Izadi for $ 31,372 in first place among the 432 players who paid the entrance fee of US $ 400.
Hawkins was one of the chip leaders throughout Day 2 and took a small lead when the final table was formed. It finally turned into a duel between him and Izadi that maintained the hand to hand advantage from the beginning, but Maurice stayed firm until an all-in preflop move arrived that he capitalized and managed to be the chip leader until the end of the tournament .
Hawkins, 39, born in West Palm Beach, Florida, had recently won his 12th ring at the No-Limit Hold'em BB Ante $ 100K North Carolina GTD held in April of this year and from where he took US $ 44,297. With that victory tied to Valentin Vornicu in the same number of rings.
"I made a conscious effort to play better," Hawkins said moments after his victory. "To be more focused and really value the opportunities and blessings that I have. I have the ability to play poker to earn a living, so I focused on being a better person, inside and outside the tables. "
With this victory, the American player reaches US $ 1,669,459 in 88 cashes in the WSOP Circuit, and a total gain of US $ 2,273,939 also adding 23 cashes of events in the World Series.

I guess these rings mean something in Texas holdem poker. It's not easy to win so many tournaments for13 rings. Even Valentin Vornicu who is from my country, but lives in Usa, he won 12. I know the WSOP is the best, but i do not understand what are circuit tours and the connection between rings and bracelets.

I have to confess that this is the first time i hear about the r"rings". Is this right, or you are talking about bracelets ? But then again i though that the bracelets can only be won in WSOP tournaments, which is not the case here. Never the less, it must be a big achievement. He cashes a nice number of cashes.

Bracelets are given to winners of WSOP, the rings are given to WSOP Circuit winners. The Circuit is kinda lika a warm-up or build-up on the WSOP. I can't say for sure what the buy-in and prizes are since I've got no idea.
Anyway, well done by him for collecting 13 rings, an amazing accomplishment!

Wow. This is some kind of an acheievement for Mr Hawkins. Does he have a fetish about keep winning these rings? Has he moved on to bracelets or other trophies that may be even more prestigious. Any way round, winning this many is no mean feat so well done to Mr Hawkins and I look forward to hearing about number 14

Unfortunately, there was no one to answer my question. I really have to search the internet now to see what kind of awards are there besides bracelets and rings. How many poker tournaments there are, should make awards with Earrings and Chains.
interesting information ... I have never heard of the rings that are given out for Victories in tournaments of a smaller series .... but now I found out about it ... Thank you for the information ... in any case, 13 rings is a remarkable achievement ... and profits over a million dollars are also remarkable achievements .... this player is really interesting .... I've searched on internet and i saw about the World Series of Poker Circuit. Is no different from the WSOP because they have preliminary tournaments and rings awards. Was founded in 2005 and they offered nearly 1,000 rings. There are 20 players who won 5 rings or more.
