Dunno, but I've got a feeling that for some the cardswiping method will provide a better chance to get into the tournament rather than just playing their way into it.

I believe so too. Even if some dont have the card, i dont know if it is a mandatory thing, in order to play in the casino, then they will get one, in order to participate in the draw. Slim chances to get a seat like this, but you never know after all. It costs nothing to try to be in it.
