hi all, my wife just gave birth to a healthy baby boy named connor, weighed 9.5ib, we nearly lost him as well as the bloody cord was wrapped around his neck twice and he wasnt breathing when he came out (for around 40sec) ive never been so scared in my life as i was in those 40 seconds and it seemed to be in slow motion, but then the relief when he started crying was incredible, im very happy.

Well done Congrats best wishes to you and your wife. Connor is a good Irish name:
"The name Connor is a baby boy name. The name Connor comes from the Irish origin. In Irish The meaning of the name Connor is: Strong willed or wise 'Hound-lover.' Also from the Irish 'Coachuhhar', meaning high desire. Famous bearers: In Irish mythology Connor was an early king of Ulster.; "

we in Australia get around 5k for every baby we have as the govenment is trying to increase the population, because of the baby boom in the 1960s we are going to have way to many people retired at the one time, so they have to increase the population now to support them, the money isnt a reason to have a baby allthough im sure some people think it is, they just bought in a new rule for people on welfare who have a baby that they pay the bonus over 1 year to stop them spending it on plasma TVs and grog and drugs and things, we just put the cash str8 into the babies bank account to give them a good start in life, ive had 2 babies now (boy and a girl) and i think its time to get the snip.
