Aces are the best hand preflop so raise em big and try to get headsup.
I see many people make mistakes to slowplay them and get angry if they got busted.
Sometimes nobody calls cos you raise them big but its better then slowplay them and check them out to the river and all your stack is gone right?

So aces, i luv them Big Smile

I always raise big with AA, but I still get sucked out sometimes.
Yesterday got 2 times AA and lost both of the times heads up against 46o and 9Qo.
Both of the opponents got 2 pairs in turn or river. And I made 3/4 POT sized bets all the way till the showdown. Both of the times I lost a buy in.
This must be unluck? Or did I play them wrong??? Aww crap!

I mean raise em big and maybe no callers... Thats no problem next time aces you get callers Smile

bad advise keep your raises the same sizes, good players pick up on betting tells especially if your TAG

If a player calls a 3x BB raise with 46o or Q9o, he is a donkey and will call a 4x or 5x raise as well.. I really don't know why they do it but they seem very confident with such a strategy.. well and in some cases they even hit it and get lucky like in ur case.. sad thing but happens ;D I experience it almost every day..

Jokerstars sucks, big time... I only play tournaments there now. No more cash games, lots of donks (lucky ones). I'm better off playing cash games on Full Tilt.

Never slowplay aces preflop... With aces most of the times you either win a little or lose a lot, and I'd prefer former rather than latter...

I just hate pokerstars , not because its rigged but because there are so many donks in the tours and they will play any card all in and it just sucks to much getting your hands crackt by 2 random crap cards. Yesterday in a tour I end up all in preflop and the donks show q6 offsuited and beats my JJ.. Pretty much the same every time i play at pokerstars . god i hate donks that ruins good poker . Aww crap! Aww crap!

know the feeling... but poker is also part gambling... makeing the right choices at the right time.... AA or 7-2... its all about your game... not what you hold...

check out barry greensteins experiment, big pair vs small pair. you can hear it in his podcast 'tips from the bear'.. go check it out (i'm too lazy to look for the exact link right now). it basically says if you play cash games deep stacked (60bb+) you will have to learn to fold aces post flop sometimes in order to make aces be EV+ for you in the end !!
now tell me again you are getting 'sucked out on' by unbelievable hands and odds ... (you'll see you are actually mis playing the hand !)

Take real cards. Make AhAs vs Kd10d vs 7c6c, and then deal flop over and over again.Ofcourse shuffle cards everytime. I got this results: In 50 flops dealt, AA won 11 times, K10 24 times and 76 15 times.

If i have dealt 74630274942837856478362398496636523740950382376484959 flops all numbers would be in normal range.

Sry about bad English.

I agree didn't know doomdy ment raise them more than others. I allways raise the same unless I know my opponent will call anyway then I pump it up a litlle bit extra

Cash tables are completely diffirent then sit n go players.
I am winning player on sit n go table, but when i play cash i bust my bankroll.
Also many cash players detroy their bankroll on sit n go tables.

What i want to say is, the play is completely diffirent.
In cash is all about (i think) max your winnings and min your looses. (right?)
Sit n go is all about surviving (especcially doubles), in same cases you have to fold your KK KQs QQ ect preflop to survive.
There are cases you even fold your AA preflop just to get in the money (yes its true and i am not gay Tongue)

Playing AA in cash or sit n go is way diffirent, in early stage of a sit n go i want chips with my aces with min risk.
So i raise them high (also KK), if nobody calls no problem, you want chips but not against 2,3 callers, you only want 1 caller.
I play at PKR, there are many many donks there.
Many times i played aces in early stage raising 100 with blinds 10/20 and get 6 callers Confused wtf? Thats suicide right?
Even when raising more i get callers, the craziest things happen.
Many times i got donked out this way so.....
(and btw when i raise big i also get callers lol)

So i think Turbo you are right but....

Come play 1 week sit n go at PKR and i am sure your saying ''yes doomdy you were right'' Blink

And yes i am still playing at PKR lolll, maybe i stay maybe i go dont know yet Smile
