Illuminated minds will play here for a lot of money and some of the players will share the money with business people, who will be sponsors for them. It is important to see a tournament with such a buy-in. It is not for anyone and certain professional players of great value are missing here. They probably did not find a sponsor.

They buy in speaks for itself. And yet there are thirty five entries so far.
They are expecting up to 48 entries, and that can be succeeded i believe.
There are many people that have the money for the buy in.
It is going to be a very interesting game.

Triton Poker series is also a very cool series ... as far as I can see. They have been holding their tournaments for a long time and always They are very attractive for many professional players who take part in it ... I certainly don’t claim to participate in this tournament but the news is interesting

It is a very good series because it is playing for many money. Players of very good quality and with great ambitions. Where are more money the interest becomes even bigger. They made this series in different locations to be a world series, but i would like if here would also play others professionals players which are more familiar and having many fans.

"The game is only via invite, with invitations given to business people and recreational players only. If invited, each person can select one professional to compete in the said event, ensuring parity between pros and non-pros for the first time at these mind-boggling stakes."

Wondering how they are determining "rec" players.

Paul Phua - $11,437,324 total live earnings per one tracking site

Tony G - $6,094,182 total live earnings

Talal Shakerchi - $7,354,464 total live earnings

So those three may well be "businessmen", but I wouldn't classify them as "rec" players with those winnings.

Nice charitable cause, but for the most part seems to be pros (who maybe don't grind the circuit full time) inviting pros.

I feel really sorry for any of the invitees who are actually "rec" players because the parity component is questionable.

I dont know about the third one, but the other two are well known
poker players.
So you are right about the classification as "businessmen".
You cant refer to them as full time poker players?
Any way it is going to be a good game and as you mentioned also, for a good cause,
which is what matters the most.

If people who are not so professionals accept this thing, is not a problem. There are many people with money, who would like to play poker against professionals poker players and for them if they lose money it does not matter. They want to see what it's like to play against pro players.
