Almost every year there is a hurricane in the Bahamas. The last one was called Dorian and i read on the internet abot that. He hit with great fury and the images were scary. People out there have a hard life when there are heavy storms. The pictures with this are very sad. It is certain that the players will come to play

The Bahamas consists of over 700 islands and the Baha Mar located on the isle of New Providence sustained minimal damage. The airport located on this island is also fully operational. Grand Bahama and the Abaco islands took the hardest hit.
Looks like they will be good to go and I am sure that partypoker and perhaps some of the more financially viable players will certainly donate to the Hurricane Dorian relief efforts.

A very nice summary from you about this thing and sad is the fact that some islands are vulnerable. People living on those islands and they have nowhere to go. I think you were there or saw a documentary but if the ice cap melts again, they may have bigger problems. Who knows what will happen to those islands, but until then you can play poker.

crankmuppet I am glad that most of country,islands,are good and then hurricane didnt hit most of them!but as I read and see on tv,lot of people are dead and house and everything are ruined!its sad how this great places must get this kind of weather and something that will change their lives!
Yes, it’s very sad that the Bahamas took the blow of the elements ... and therefore got big problems ... if the hurricane came during the poker games it was very bad for everyone ... of course people would be evacuated to a safe place but the tournament would be broken and it would be very sad ... I hope that during the tournament there will be no troubles from nature and people

You will realize that this series will be moved elsewhere if these islands will have big problems due to the nature. So far this is not so dangerous and the players will come here to play. Satisfaction exists because the prizes are good and the situation there is not bad compared to other islands.

wow,cant believe how some members dont write a single thing about this people who lost everything and how many of them are dead!they write about poker and how they will make on other island and so on!who cares about poker now,people kill other people for food on bahamas,thats main story!
of course the Bahamas is a very cool place like a wonderful climate and generally very cool ... and of course a poker tournament in such a place brings income to the economy of the Bahamas which is good for everyone .... therefore it seems to me that this poker tournament will have a beneficial effect on the consequences of the disaster of this hurricane

These Bahamas games have very good prizes and almost every good player is trying to get there by satellites. This is the most profitable thing, if you are not sponsored by someone, of course. Prizes are $ 15 million guaranteed but they can exceed this amount.

I visit the Bahamas in December during a Caribbean Cruise, but this tourney series at PartyPoker are also nice .-) I try some sat´s with a low buyin, but it was not easy to qualify against so many peoples. But i wish all mobsters gl for this games.

Nothing is easy in poker when there are very important qualifying games or when you qualify for major tournaments with buy-in medium, big or huge. It's hard in small games too, because the fights are very hard, when you fight for money.
