It's sad, that Monika Zukowicz didn't win. It was the only woman from this poll, and moreover, she is from Poland It would be nice to talk with woman about poker, because it isn't common to see woman in poker.

I also voted for Monika, but as you can see there were only 2 votes for her - i think you and me. for me also the theme of woman in poker is very interesting ( as i am woman also). As per different statistics about 80-90% of all online players are men, and on live events women appearance is even smaller - about 3-4%! and it is all connected with men attitude to women in poker. once on one poker forum one man wrote: "It is very easy to play with women, I can beat all of them, cause they have brain like a squirrel brain". really it was very unpleasant to read such words. I think that's why many of woman hide their gender in online games and don't like to attend live events in order not to face such man attitude...

Yeah, I guess so. But why do we notice so many female avatars at online poker tables? Are many men pretending to be a woman? Well, I have to admit that I like using pretty and sexy female avatars.
