the winnings are of course fabulous but this is the final of this game in which the best players meet .... and therefore, to attract attention, such a huge prize was awarded as several million dollars .... which ultimately brought huge popularity to this show .... and accordingly big advertising contracts that partially covered this gain ..... so it works in show business

I generally like these kinda quiz shows and I like playing trivia anyway but I never understood why there's a need to answer these things with a question? Why won't they just say the answer straight up rather than forming a question around it?

This general culture competitions are excellent for people who are very well documented. Reading is very good, because it educates you a lot and of course you can participate in televised contests, where you can earn money. Congratulations to the 3 competitors who won nice money.

Yeah, Jeopardy is backwards. You will get the answers from the columns and you'd need to apply the proper question to win the prize.

in order to win this game you need to have a phenomenal memory and remember most of the facts that exist in this world .... and accordingly remember the previous questions that are sometimes repeated in new games .... Therefore, he needs a mathematical mindset that brings victory .... something like this I think about the principles of this game

Cultured people they won often many prizes or money in televised competitions. It is good for them, because it is better to learn and to know, than to not like the books and not to know many things in your life. People who learn are more profitable than the rest who do not have many options to succeed in life.

in Russia there is an analogue of this game and the winners there are people who are academics or some other scientists in life .... in general, people with a very good education and career .... in other countries it is not so .... there are people who are engaged purely in this game for their triumph .... as a result, they devote their whole lives to it ..... different mentalities, probably in different countries

if we know that in america you pay tax on everything, especially on winnings from gambling and this kind of things, then probably they will take from him half of this amount!but they didnt say anything about it in this news!it same when they say how some nba player will get 10 millions for one season, but half of that go on tax,so he will get "only" 5 millions!

It is normal for people with faculty and masters to win this kind of televised contests. It was abnormal if the criminals and the interlopers had won these games. You can't win if you haven't learned and you don't have a broad general culture.

It seems to me that you are wrong .... even if the person is a criminal or a bad person but he has wonderful erudition and a good memory, then for this game he is a great player regardless of other categories of his personality .... therefore, to judge whether a person deserves to be won or not deserves it according to some other criteria probably wrong

I do not know if a crime has happened here, but i like televised games with general culture questions. Many years ago i was pursuing this contests, but now i have other hobbies, and i don't have time for that anymore. Anyway it's nice and the prizes are good.
