the deal on stars was over 200k.its down at 25k again,means it was won,right?,i played 7hrs ago but got no cash,anyone else and has there been a change in how it works?Stars software just now for me is a nightmare,wont open tables,keeps giving the not responding message and i have to close the lot and log in to play,not got the patience to delete and download everyday,getting stupid now with "send file logs" no sort your site .... glgl at the tables mobsters ...
I used to play it everytime I opened a chest and got extra starcoins but I noticed as well that they don't pay out your fair share if somebody wins it within 24 hours after you have played. Therefore I gave up on the game and simply use the coins for tournament tickets.

These disadvantages are made ''to make the players' lives difficult''. This is not normal and every time things are getting more complicated for all gamblers. This matters to them that we will get out of good shape and not concentrate so much and that means you have to play more games to make money and their commissions are higher.

Then don't hesitate to share with us. I usually don't follow back the winning times, but I noticed I am mostly never involved in the kickback even on weeks when I play the game more. So I guess I choose the wrong timeframes.
Firstly a disclaimer: You need to be disciplined, dedicated to the path and a bit anal (me to a tee)
1. Save the star coins you receive, do not blow all in one go, do not use for "splash" sats (mega-path sats are ok tho as great potential value if you have enough coins and can play the event if you win) 2. Wait until the jackpot gets to a significant number, I use $180,000.00, for me maybe a touch more next time, as my SC balance is low. (I am only playing PP and 888 currently). 3. Play 1 game of the Deal for 7 SC. 4. Repeat step 3 every 11 hours and 55 minutes or sooner to fit into work, social schedules, so that no more than 12 hours passes between attempts. 5. Take winnings and do with as you will. End Notes: It usually costs about 100 SC to complete or around $1.00's worth, This time my cost was ~146 SC (~$1.46) and I received $10.10, and there is always the chance of a bigger prize in the Deal itself, a couple of years ago I won 500 SC. I am still waiting for the $90,000.00+ though, TBA, lol.
Let me know if I need to clarify any of the above.
Nah, I get it - this is a totally sound strategy to 'grind' with the starcoins. I usually get into the habit of wasting them on tournament/spin and go tickets but with those at least I am on my own to make money from it. I rarely win anything with The Deal altough as you can see I am not that disciplined like you.

In the past PokerStars had some very good splash tournaments to spend your starcoins , for tournament tickets , especially when big series were running , like SCOOP . I remember one year with the 2 starcoins for 2 0.10 tickets and starcoins for the 3rd one , win x 5.5 , without considering how many more games you could play witht the extra starcoins won . I won so many T$ , fun while playing them with loose players . Also the megasatellites , 10 one after theother , begin with one starcoin for the (I know hardest or even impossible ) target tournament , or win large amounts of starcoins in the bubble places , for this last case it really worth Then every some months it got worse , less and less good value splash . Ofcourse the participation was not satisfactory , less and less players every month , but I guess PokerStars didn't really want them and these games ceised to exist . Too bad , I really liked some of them , winning the ticket and play again for fun and generate some more starcoins or T$ . Now , there are only the sngs for tickets using staroins for one ticket (hardest) , with much more than 2 coins , win gives x3 profit when there's offer for two tickets , win gives x9 profit when you win , but is soooooo hard , really sucks completely , better use real money or $T for sats to get your ticket for the target tournament you desire to play . The other option is for Sunday Storm , 2 tickets only ,so many players , buying and rebuying , lol very very tough . I won once 11$ ticket with 1 starcoin buy in and one starcoin rebuy , but the prizepool from one only ticket got to 4 tickets with the rebuys , that was very good Although I want in the future to view many tables , watch the action , see when/what time the prizes (tickets and how many will win 50 or less starcoins) are the most , see if I might (improbable but will see ) have profit .
But yes , the best way to spend these starcoins is the Deal , leave the big sharks players with the tones of coins built the prizepool , then play and minwin x6 or even x10 your investment , just by playing every 11 and 40/50/55 minutes lol And who knows , maybe one day you win a big prize ??? The biggest I won was 1 $ for a flush (now the award for a flush is 100 starcoins )

In the past I waited until the prize got vey high , over 220.000$ or 240.000/250.000 , sometimes more !!! But that way I was losing some good opportunities when the prize was big , the deal jackpot was won 10k or 15k less than the one I expected to start playing , and then again I had to wait for the next jackpot .
Then things got worse , now the jackpot very very rarelly goes so big , also more players play the last days , when the prizepool is very big . The previous time I lost it , had to wait for months . That 's why I decided now to start playing when the prizepool hit $160.000 , omg I was hoping every day the jackpot to be won , but nothing . I lost 200 coins (when in the past almost always 70 coins more or less ) , also 14000 players played it and got a slice from the cake , omg . I was hoping for sth more , and initially for a x10 profit (with 100coins 11 or more $$ ) Next time I will wait for $250.000 to reach , then start playing . Yes , this might take some months , hope not an eternity . Maybe close to the New Years Eve or the Christames , LOL , they have a taste/preference the prizepool to hit big those days . Just kidding , we can't know when this might happen , we all know it's not rigged

Pokerstars will get a mediocre poker room in a few years because something bad is happening here. The good tournaments have been modified and players give up to playing. They must to have respect for the gamblers but is not the case for Stars Group.

The tourney structure might have changed but you could still use your coins on satellites - that one stayed the same (minus the cost of course). You could find satellite entries for most micro tournes as low as ten coins and they still have the Sunday Storm satellite starcoin promo every week.

I prefer only the Deal nowadays , GUARANTEED WIN 100% using the pre-refered strategy , where else can I find such winrate LOL !!! . In the past there were good tourneys with many guaranteed tickets using the starcoins every Saturday , Sunday , Wednesday , I believe also Friday , can't remember if more existed . I won some , wasn't bad , even when I didn't win , the fun of playing for (almost) 2 cents for such reward , was very much . Also I wasn't rebuying , only very rarelly , so my starcoins were spent so slooowwllyyy They cancelled them . So bad , I could receive great value for very few starcoins invested . If I improve and after I watch some action at these stellites tables I will try the sunday storm 2 starcoins , not very good for my abilities I have the feeling , but I will try and see

I have more than 317 coins , enough to last for more than 23 games of attempts , day and night , to crack it , or at least be one of the players who will share the 50% of the prizepool . I will not play if the prizepool don't get at least $210k . I said in the past $240k or $250k , but no , I don't see it gong there , almost always it's lower than 160k or $180k , so I will try it now . Hope it ends soon enough after the $210 , on $220 ??lol But when I play , alwaysunluckiness . I might start on $190k , and they the find the timing to let the prizepool go to $280k or $290k , lol , other times when i don't oplay , the jackpot win is coming very soon , lol

Where has the deal gone? It was there last night and when I came to play this morning it was no where to be seen! I haven’t seen any news about it or comments in the forum so does anyone have any news or information. As 3pokeronly says, it had passed 200k and would have been a nice prize for anyone who won or played in the previous 12 hours!
I saw it got to just short of $230k while playing a tourney, was going to fire at +$230k which would of been around 11.30 NZ time, looked and no sign of it, then busted tourney 9's (shortish stacked) vs J's. Then looked on other forums and saw one post saying similar for one of the Euro PS skins, seems it is now an extinct part of history, no notice, makes some sense from a business point of view if it was a loss leader, no communication since, very typical of this site in its current management structure, and no sign of any kind of replacement.

I don't know why this technical error did actually happened . It was unfortunate . These days more play many games , winning more starcoins , so probably more players play this DEAL game , which is imo the best way to spend your starcoins , especially if they are very few . Play sngs or some sats with 1-2 tickets , not good enough to play them with success , don't know how to play them successfully . PLay with 50-70 starcoins the deal , at the worst case 100 or sth more , when the prise is over $220K , or $210K , everyone has to decide for himself when the best time/prisepool is the right one to do so , and win guaranteed 5x or even 10x the invested money , then play this winnings for some sats or games , niiiiceee Ofcourse , you still have a chance to win some extra winnings during these attempts , if you hit a flush , straight , etc ...Not so possible if you play only once every 12 hours .... But I have won very few times in the past , always awesome when it happens , very small prizes , but everything is welcomed

I have started playing this DEAL every 12 or sth less hours , hope the winner will be found asap , so as not to spend many starcoins , and keep them for the next big prizepool . Or else , for the next time , I will be forced to start playing when prise is $250K or more , maybe $260K , whichofcourse is very difficult to happen nowadays , might take alooong time to happen Good luck everyone playing it these days . I hope this technical error never happens again , very frustrating .

oh the deal i always wanted to win big but it is getting harder to get coins now i have to put mad rake just to open one chest and it will give me like 12 coins or less anyway i like the startegie you guys put down here , as long as i get mad coins im gonna start using it
, just by playing every 11 and 40/50/55 minutes lol
