I notice that you like to play these sit and go but with the profit do not try to play tournaments for more money? At this point are wasting of a lot of time and to make money you can't because this is a snail speed. Try playing satellites for something interesting.

As you Know CALICUL, I was studing the different types of poker´s games and the bankroll that you need to play in each one. The bankroll that you need is: 50/100 buy-in to Sit and Go, 100/200 to tournament, and 200/400 to satellites. So, I started in S&G and I kept playing freerolls (tourneys). Remember that I only make a first tried to play with my money. If you introduce the multi-playing, S&G might be very profitable Cool

Winner takes all seems like a very interesting format. I would have liked to play those as well! It's a shame you lost those freerolls! I haven't played freerolls in ages, mostly due to the fact that PartyPoker don't really have any, but mainly because I prefer to play SnG.

This format is a bad one because there are only 200 or 300 players and only one player wins. Coral Poker had to offer 10 prizes of 1 dollar and it was much better. Sit and go i don't play anymore because i don't make a profit there. Tournaments are ok for me.

After a crazy start, in which I burned several free bank rolls, I spent many years (7 or 8) playing exclusively freerolls or tournaments for which I had obtained a free ticket.

Good to know you need many buy-ins for a satellite , cause I tend to believe you don't need to think of these buyins , cause they are so low in comparison to the big prize tickets (x20 value in stars) , also the tickets offered are so many (50, 100 the ones I play) ,or you use freeroll money to play in them Smile Or cause you have a very big bankroll in comparison to the satellite buy in , so I don't even start making calculations how much I spent , how much I will spend in the future etc . But having said that you might need 200/400 buy ins , then , for ex $0.27 buyin for a $100 , or even a little bigger bankroll , doesn't seem completely meaningless anymore Blink

When I started I was also losing one bankroll after the other almost everyday, playing loose cash games . I didn't even know about VIP rewards , such as exclusive freerolls for VIP , or the rakeback in $$ stellar rewards you could receive with your first deposit on Stars , or other freerolls/low buy-in tourneys . Bad start .

I would love to see many/more freerolls in PartyPoker , I don't understand why they don't allow more of them .
Also in bwin.gr in Greece (which uses PartyPoker's lobby ) it's worse , cause we cannot see freerolls , which actually do exist in PartyPoker's lobby , or it stopped having some of them on the lobby on one point in the past suddenly , one of them reappeared recently , I guess after complaints , thankfully I can also play BRM's freeroll Smile

It seems bad (for one cent or 0.10 cent I would actually play , like in the past ,only some freebuys awarding some tickets/some $$ , there was a good one , was it on paradise poker platform in the past ?? ) . But if it's only one cent/0.10 cents , with many participants , playing somehow also for fun , when you have knowledge how to play them the best way , if you actually have won one/some in the past , well then I can't find a reason for someone not to try/play them , especially with freeroll money lol .

The bankroll management is a solid calculate of relation between the money that you can invest in your poker career and the risk possibilities. If you don´t care to lost money because you count it like an investment in recreational moment, you have to leave this calculate of course. Or if you have thousands of dollars in your bankroll...but, which is the sense to invest hours, and hours to play a satellite for $2 ticket, if you have this money? Blink

It's better as i say, because you spend a lot of time to won few dollars and to accumulate $50 or 100 for withdraw it will take a long time. It's okay to play satellites and then you can win a few hundred dollars with a nice tournament. With the rest of the time you can play other freerolls in other rooms.
