Never mind if you play almost only cash, or S&G, sometimes you are playing a satellite or a freeroll with a lot of players around. The possibilities of make a goal are irresistible! Although it are a very low probability, in the mode of more variance in the poker´s world, the temptation is really big! I play almost only freerolls (I spend my money in S&G), and use almost the same strategy, but more agresive. If anybody are interest, I might upload my boards...

My opinion about tournaments is that you have to split them according to the real money games, freerolls and the blinds. You can use different strategies for each type of game and stop at what is best for you but depending to every kind of game. You cannot use the same tactic for all tourneys.

I don´t understand you when wrotes " real money games, freerolls and the blinds". I know (everybody knows) that you have to have different strategies between cash money, s&g and tournaments.But I don´t think that you have to have different tactics for all tourneys. Perhaps you tried to say that you need to make differents adjustments according speciffics fields (players, position, stage of game, etc).

I won some money playing ZOOM 2nl and now I am going to try today , with this money , some satellites for the Half Price Sunday Storm and Sunday Million mega satellites with 100 , 200 seats guaranteed (and some other satellites ) . I hope I have some good luck and not make important mistakes , especially on the bubble of the satelites, if I am lucky enough to run good until then . This shove/fold hands of mine

Good luck to you antonis321! You are walking in a busy road! Too many players that I know are trying to make some money in cash´s tables to play some tourney. I played yesterday a satellite of good fellows 888poker: $1M Superstorm Main Event Freeroll -50 tickets-, and I won one of it! This tourneys are running all the days and give to us a $100 ticket value, good prize!!

Good luck for the game when the time comes to play it . 888poker has very nice freerolls and freebuys with good tickets guaranteed , tried them in the past , won some ,especially when I made an addon .
Unfortunatelly I didn't make it with the satellites for SS and SM half buy in tourneys . Played many satellites especially for the Sunday storm , no success ,. I should have bought in directly and play it , I shouldn't have played all these satellites . In the biggest of them , 15 blinds i have QQ UTG , I limp , Bb shoves 13 or sth blinds , call , he has 1010 , 10 high straight . Wtf , with this bad run no good future is guaranteed ..

I only play satellites when I get a free ticket, like this Super Storm promo. You win a Blast´s ticket in the wheel. Then, if you arrive in the last 600 players, you win the ticket for the $!M satellite where you have to end in the last 50 players...a long long path of free play! About your hand, was a classical bad beat, nothing to do! You have to think about bankroll management if you aren´t a recreational player only. The satellites mode is the most bankroll claimant, you need to have 200 buy-in minimun!
