It is normal for these things to be canceled or postponed for all major events so that the population does not risk disease or death. I think that human life is more important than any contest, game or anything where many people participate.

Wow . these prop bets of the poker players hahaha , it makes me laugh . Although this virus and the many deaths and problems it has caused not only in Chine or Asia , but actually in all over the world , is not for laughs at all . Many events have been cancelled , clebration events (like carnival) , athletic events , but many more are in danger to be cancelled in the near future . I don't want to believe or imagine that there's actually a true/real possibility the WSOP or the Olympics to be cancelled or postponed , that would be a very extreme/strict decision in order to restrict this outbreak , imo ...

All the world´s economy are being impacted by this pandemic, so is really reasonable that cause troubles in poker´s world. Only our underworld, the online poker, may continue despite any illness...But we have our own virus and bugs, isn´t it? And they can crash all our world without any death! This virus seems to touch about every country , much places have caranten and every day found more of people who have this virus. Many flights cancelled so it's maybe soon very difficult to travel anywhere , if keep founding so many people every day...

The WSOP is in the Summer, so still a few month to go. Untill then the infections will either have been contained, or a lot of events will have to be cancelled. And then the WSOP is only a small event, as both the Olympic games and the Euro 2020 are sheduled to take place. Both with far more attdendencies than the WSOP

today we got news that ATP in indian wells will not be played this year and they canceled him!they dont want to play tournament without audince,so its best that they cancel everything!so if this continue in next months,WSOP will not be playerd for sure!now we can see how this affect on sport,life and everything!

Strange is the fact that some people prefer it alcohol, horseradish or other natural products, which helps body against virus. if they can cancel tennis tournament,for sure that can cancel poker tournament!nobody cant say when this will stop,so even its lot of time till WSOP,they need to see what will do with all players and with all packages that players already bought it!so many questions,so little time!

Yes it's long list where this virus touch already ... flights cancelled , schools closed , much sport event play without viewers etc... Those news about situation in Italy tells that " hope Im wrong " there might be same situation in few European country also if no found way to stop this virus.

The coronavirus scared a lot of Romanian citizens who left Italy because of fear. They came to my country and went into quarantine. I believe that action must be taken everywhere. Schools will be closed for a period and other institutes as well. I don't think the WSOP will be canceled. In hot temperatures the viruses can be stopped, i think.

Yes , let's hope that this virus will stop and disappears even it don't like so right now. Don't know about how this virus acts when it's hot temperatures but now see that this virus stay also some countries where have now higher temperature ... It's new virus and no have much information about it so have to only look how does it go...

people dont know will we have olympic games or european championship in football,but they know that we will have WSOP this year!?cant believe what people write and what stupid things they can say!now uefa want to make decision to stop cahmpions league and europe league after this stage,so how can anybody know what will be till summer?

Governments take this outbreak really very seriously . Athletic events get cancelled , casinos are closing , schools or universities close for some weeks , many are in quarantine to sequre the safety and health of the rest of the citizens in many counties , Greece , Italy , everhywhere . Especially in Italy too many are the peolpe who got ill . The situation is concerning . I hope everything goes back to normality soon in the future , find a way to restrain this virus outbreak . The fear and panic are more contagious than the virus itself .....

Still no sign to better , now virus touch NBA , football in England and many other countries , NHL also have to think what next ? Formula 1 get also bad news in Australian GP , McLaren will not start because of this virus... , this list of cancelled events just keep going... seems like travelling going to be no possible but it's maybe best way to slow down this virus.

nba is also stopped this morning,even one game was canceled when players were on court,so you can see what will happen with WSOP if this dont finish in next month or two!champions league will also stop,so for everything we dont know what will be!this will be very crazy summer!

For now it seems that all bigger events will be cancel , now some events play without any people to watch and much events already cancelled or move to play later... Nobody knows what that later means... is it weeks , months or year time will show how much this virus will change our lives in this year...
