The Millions Superstorm was absolutely one for the record books and will be remembered in 888poker history as the lowest buy-in tournament to surpass a $1,000,000 guarantee.
Scheduled from March 1 to 22, for the Millions Superstorm event, 888poker hosted a daily opening flight with a total of 11,618 entries that surpassed the guarantee, generating a prize pool worth $1,068,856.

Unfortunately i couldn't play here because i didn't qualify. I played a little and i had only few chances. This year i didn't play too much on 888poker and if the coronavirus will keep me at home, i will participate in more games. Congratulations to the players who have won a lot of money here.

Well, if I read it well, the prize pool was $ 1,1Million. So, when they told about the Million, they was telling about the total money that they garanted to all the prizes, not to the first only. But I understand you dule-vu, all this weeks or month talking about the million, and making all that million,s promotion was becoming in a little deception, I know...

This kind of tournament is very rare on 888Poker and not all players have the opportunity to play in it. I saw qualifying tournaments, where the fight is open for all players and at the end, see if you qualify or not. Much success for the next good games guys.

This Millions Superstorm Main Event had great success . 888poker players had the chance to earn a slice of the big prizepool and win big money with as little as 100$ buyin , that's awesome . Congratulations to zaSPARTAK for winning this tournament , I wish him to spend this money in something important that he really needs , he really deserves it

I cant read it but the buy-in was around $ 100, isn´t it? ( 11.000 players makes $1M+ ), so $100K wasn´t a little prize. I think that, like some online tournament of this poker´s room, they pay a lot of players. So the money is distributed between too many winners and the first prize it makes it cheaper, it loses a bit of its appeal. You have to fight there through two days of ten hours each one, but I need ten years to win that!

wow,do I only see this sentence or what:
This was really a great chance to win a million bucks with just a $100 investment for an online poker tournament!
so its very clear that they say how you could win million bucks for just 100 $,so its not like it was prize pool of 1 million!but we all see that first prize was 112 K!

Yes, misleading advertising, but if there was no news of someone prosecuting them, the small print of the promotion should make it very clear. Anyway, I don't know of any tournament that has a million dollar first prize, with an entry of only $ 100. Do you know any dule-vu? The cheapest one that I know was some Party Poker tournament that have $500K with a buy-in of $ 209, few years ago...

Full Tilt had a $ 109 tournament with a guaranteed of $1 million prize. Pokerstars had the same, and a few months ago i think it had a $55 Sunday Million entry. 10,000 players is needed for this and only few poker rooms can support in every week a tourney like that.

For sure , not many online poker rooms can provide these kind of tournaments with $1.000.000 or more prizepool , only 3-4 , especially when it's part of a promotion . It's a massive prizepool , needs many entries/rentries to hit the goal and not have any overlays . Ofcourse now with the corona virus and the home isolation , more people play poker , more players guarantee better prizepools .
Especially if you take into consideration the very small buy in of $100+$9 ,very few live events can also offer sth like this Very cheap and very big win , what more you could ask for ?? Win once and take home a large amount of money, to have for months or years , strengthen greatly your bankroll , or even the prize might be lifechanging money indeed !!!!!
Congratulatins once more to 888poker for this success . I hope they schedule as many events as possible , like this, in the next months

I like to play in such tournaments. but it is quite difficult. because the satellites are not easy. It's always nice to play with sharks and if you can create a nice stack, you can do something good. The biggest problem is that they don't pay...

I don't know where they said sth like this . Nevermind , when sb goes to play a tournament , if he's not tottaly new / novice player , as if he has registered in the poker room just yesterday , he'll check the total prizepool , or at least for sure the first prize amount of $$$$$ he could win . He won't pay as much attention to any other thing or exaggeration h's heard , as much as to the tournament lobby itself and the first prize guaranteed being shown . So no harm in the end for noone I guess

LOL Dule-vu you are right , when I read it the previous two times hadn't noticed it , how did that happen ......
But yes , not I see it . lol . It is a mistake apparently . i don't now whether it's only on BWM news feed or also in 888poker official news section , but yes , it is not the truth . The first prize was what , $112.000 ??? Not a million bucks for sure . It's tottaly different a $1.000.000 prizepool and a $1.000.000 prize

The organizer of this poker tournament ( 888 ) can share the prizes as he wishes. The prize for 1st place can be 10%, 15% or more because i saw in few rooms these differences at a million dollar game. There is nothing strange here but players can ask for changes.

thats what I talking about from my first post at this thread, first post after news is published on news section and forum!it would be interesting to see, from where is this news and is it just copy/paste from 888 site or somebody from BRM write it up!because there is not chance that somebody could win one millions bucks on one million prize pool!

I believe it must be a copy paste form 888poker article , cause sometimes I read in news articles '' we do sth ....'' ,''our offer/promotion etc ....'' , , ofcourse this can be said by the ones who schedule these promotions (meaning 888 , partypoker , eetc) , not by BRM , so I believe most of these news posts have partially a copy-paste text or texts
Anyway , noone got hurt , even $100.000 is awesome prize , not a regular in the greatest majority of tournaments , and with only $109 , still it's awesome offer if it was $1.000.000 the first prize , that would be awesome
