A beautiful prize in a beautiful place. Just now, when the Autumn is starting in my city, to think in a trip to the Caribean is a pretty dream. But I don´t know how it filtered with the Covid 19 situation!

Any player who is average or above can win such a prize for major tournaments in different beautiful places around the world. You just have to try this and if $ 11 is too much maybe there is a satellite for this game. These chances are not denied by smart players.

this is great story,when you see that he didnt play at all for few years,that he had other things in life and after so many time,he decided to start playing again and now he got this great passport for only 11 $!ofcourse there will be only few players in one year,that will make something like this,but you can always try it!

Yes, all the glory to this man! And I agree with you MarcWinz, we all wish/hope to achieve something similar. But I think that many of us are far of really do it. Perhaps some of us have skills over John Holmes, but we aren´t in a professional career in poker. The majority of us are recreational players who have a job, family, etc; and leave it is not an option for now!

People with good skills, who win first place in various tournaments or rankings, deserve some congratulations. Talent deserves to be appreciated and most people are aware of this. However, there are many online players who have not received congrats but that is another story.

Much I read about the success of not young man, much I think in makes a new try in the poker career. I´m feeling a little stimulation, oinly a bit. I remember that, to only makes a mediocre evolution, I had to spend a lot of time studing and playing. I´m like the majority of the common recreational players, I want to have a million shot, without any effort!

In online poker there are a lot of talented or professional players who have beautiful stories and many of them big wins. Party Poker offers good games where you can make a lot he ends up in prizes. He has good skills and maybe something good will happen there.

If you are lucky anything can happen. And while the one ticket may worth 10k is not the same as the other one with the trip to the carribean. Cause you the both can end up empty handed from the ticket, but the trip to the carribean is the winner in the first place

Yes Mober I´m agree with you. Poker still being a lucky game, you ever need a proportion of it. Even you are a very good professional player. You can see a lot of videos with pocket aces cracked by any pair, and if you haven´t a bit of luck, that situation can repeated several times in a tourney. When this happened, include the good players start to fall in tilt.

I remember when i played 5 qualifying tournaments in another poker room with 50 FPPs to finally win a $ 215 ticket in the sunday million. Performance can always be beautiful, even if they are small or large but sometimes are bad. At the moment i am very angry because i managed a bad performance ( to stay too long in my house ). Covid.

To me, happened some curious thing. I have all the time of the world to play, but I can´t be concentrated in the game, and I makes a lot of stupid errors. The isolation is occupied my head without taken notice of it. Only when the luck is in my side, and I make one or two bad beats to the villains, I pay attention on the game to keep the advantage.

THere was also Mike Hill who earned such a ticket the previous mnth , but with $22 satellite , a very big success for him as well . John Holmes stopped playing poker some years ago due to some personal life and work matters , but nowadays , working from home , and with more frre tome he started playing poker again , and that lead him to this great win . There are many who restarted playing poker these days , and start winning again on the felt . But also there are many newcomers , who have some knowledge on how to play poker , they can also have the opportunity to chase and win such expensive satellites on PartyPoker , play and win their big guaranteed tournaments , live or online .

Well. I´m starting to play again, bah...I´m thinking very hard that I might starting to play again. But I have serious doubts that I could arrive to this results. hahaha. The "blank space" in poker is really common, especially in the semiprofessional players. Obviously, I don´t think that Negreanu or any top player could take a sabbat year, but the rest of the mortals, yes!

now he need to be smart and to see on what live tournament he will use this 10000 $ passport!as I see in some other news,they will extend this prize on more months,because of this corona problems!so no matter what he will decide to do with prize,he will earn something if he change prize or if he travel,he will have great vacation and maybe he will win something!

What a bitter taste, don´t you think? Win a wonderful prize whe the world become isolated and all the live tournaments and travel capacity are stoped. I wish that the company extended that passport until the "new normality" arrive. By the way, the passport can be used spliting it in many little tourney, or is only for a big one?
