Daniel Negreanu posted on his Twitter account telling his followers that his friend was robbed and he asked them to notify him should they spot stolen Aria chips with a "significant amount of $25kchips and $5k."
A friend of mine just had a significant amount of 25k aria chips and some 5k arias stolen from them. If you come across anyone suspicious trying to cash in please notify me asap.

well this person who did take this chips maybe already exchange it for money,because he knewt that everybody will try to find out and to wait who will take money from it or he will wait and will change chips,one by one and with that kind of payout he will exchange every chip!maybe it will take long time,but he will get money!dont understand on which way did he lost this big amount and how somebody took this chips from him!

Daniel Negreanu's friend should notify authorities and those responsible should start using this technology, to look for chips, that have a microchip and will be found very easily. I don't know why he made announcement on Twitter (maybe he probably wanted to give emotions for thief).

somebody have stupid habit to follow me and to give thumbs down in lot of threads,even I just tell what every member can see!who know where is this money and who will exchage it for real money!he doesnt have to do all right away,he can take time and to take whole amount in few weeks!

These RFID detectors work properly I assume ?? Cause if they are the same as in the Postle's case , well then I cannot expect decent results , lol . Anyway , if this RFID technology is so great indeed , ofcourse the thief won't be able to cash out these chips , so a least he won't have any benefit from this disgracefull action that he make , or else they will catch him .

I think those chips are somewhere in a ghetto or have already reached at the landfill. I don't understand why some people haven't found out yet. All they need is for them to do their job and look for chips. It's not that hard.

dont see way how they will catch him and will proof that this are that chips!its same like players give chips to dealer or waiter as reward and then they can change it for money!same here,people can go home and then to again play with this chips or to change it for dollars!story is over!

Story will end when all chips are found. It doesn't matter if the culprit is caught, because he has a few chances to escape ... but most important thing is that this friend of Daniel Negreanu's can withdraw his money equivalent to value of those tokens.

I don't understand how he lost them on the first place , if both tweeters talk about the same person . These chips are so precious ,how did he miss them , wasn't concetrated ?? How they guess they might have been stolen ?? It's sth to question about , also so as to take precautions for the future , everyone else So even if a known person to this thief works at the casino , he won't be able to help the thief , that's good news .

yes,we cant know on which way did he lost them,I mean how somebody took it from him,did he forgot for example in bar,toalet,whatever or somebody just stole it!I am sure that they have lot of cameras and that they can find this person,but somehow I think this wasnt normal operation!

If it's on camerra , they will find him . Casinos are full of cameras , scurity is very strict , chances to do sth bad and get away with it are small .
He didn't cash out instantly the chips ,so maybe the thief knew about the RFID technology , maybe he did that so as just to hurt this player , to watch him getting angry or sad , to try breaking his balls . this thief must be a real as****le . Hopefully he is not one of his known people or in the small circle of one of his close friends , these people who are closer to you , they are able to do more harm to you easier than the strangers .

This story will have a happy ending because no one can collect that money except this friend of Daniel Negreanu. The police will check and other people who are able to look for chips will do it, and everything will end well.

everybody can change this chips and everybody can do it or sell to somebody else!chips are same,so you cant know did somebody got chip as tip,did somebody won it or find on street!you can take chips home,you dont have to sell them when you go home!so if they dont have on camera this person,they cant do anything!

This is not true because there are video cameras, cashiers and many other things including police with investigations and questions. If you have the impression that anyone can take these money then u are overly wrong. It's not possible.

I believe they will find this thief . Cause we are talking aout casinos , not some small businesses , but a casino , either you have watched movies or you have gone yourself on one casino or you have read some news , you know how much strict security measures they have
Besides that , this story has gone on public now , also some famous friends of him , call for help so as to find this thief . This is too much , I believe this casino has made it top priority to find this scumbag , via cameras or anything else , and give them to the police for thear rest procedures , or maybe police itself , with the cooperation of casino staff , finds him first .

Several days have passed since then ( I think two weeks ) and unfortunately the authorities are working at a snail's pace. I don't understand why they behave so horribly and not work seriously with professionalism. Is not that hard.

who know what is behind this and how this he lose them!probably he didnt have chips with him or he left them somewhere and then somebody just found it!you cant find him and you cant know are this chips from that person,so everybody can change them after few days or week in that casino! as I said,its same when some dealer get tip and then he can change it right away or to take it home!you dont have to change chips after you finish game!

dule vu .. You can take the chips from a casino with you and cash them out whenever you desire ?? Aren't tou obliges to do it on the same day you layed or won them ?? No ??
i didn't know it that's strange , they have so much confidence that these chips cannot be copied , that they cannot be scammed by players who supposedly won some chips some days or weeks ago and nor they bring them to take the money ?? That's strange , it's more secure to cash the chips out in real money yhte same day you won them , that way everyone can find easily where these chips were won and no problem . Ofcourse there is technology , like the RFID , but still , I think it would be better for players not to carry with them for so long their chips

When you take chips with higher value are easier to find, but some have low value and is not easy to fin, if they do not have a chip planted in them. It is important that no one can steal because in this way there would be no more victims.

yes antonis,you can take chips to home!dont know do they have some restrictions,how many of them you can take to home,but for them its better when you take chips to home,because you didnt took money from them and money stay to them and maybe you will never come to change them and they can work with cash on other transactions!

Also I do not get why sb would take the chips and not the money on his way to home , not time to do it at night , going to play again tomorrow ??? who knows .
