Unfortunatelly , mayne times , poker rooms , review their market policies and interests from times to times and decide accordingly for every region where they offer their services . PartyPoker has also withdrawn from Serbia , if I am not mistaken . Other countries have banned serbia , but you have poker rooms to play at , that's the good news . Unfortunatelly , the last years poker rooms ban many countries , their list of banned countries is toooo long , even for online casinos , I hope this situations changes in the future

It's a shame these things happen. The truth is that I do not know what must have happened in Serbia, but something similar happens in Uruguay, and it is a matter of the State, which wants to monopolize everything (and that money does not leave the country). Possibly something similar happens in Serbia. Anyway, you may be able to keep playing through a vpn or by changing the DSN. That is what I do when I want to play poker or make sports bets. yes,everything is closed for players from serbia and you can find text on mondo site about this problem and how did players react on this!mondo even contacted poker stars for this information to see where it was problem,but as we can see in past,everything is in paying tax and how poker stars dont work in serbia as other domestic providers!its probably lobbying from casino and poker sites from serbia to close them!

pokerstars closed for serbian market... so what..... pokerstars is a worst client to play oker IMO... I am more sad that party poker banned us like year ago, but still we have a lot of sites to play on... GG,ACR winamax..... wherever you want to play....

I read about it also somewhere else , unfortunately it's true . The email from pokerstars said that they reviewed their internal data or info or logs or whatever , I do not understand , they sow it's too risky ?? not profitable ?? maybe the government will take some measures to prohibit poker in the very close future and impose large fines to poker rooms,which ofcourse Pokerstars wants to avoid by all means ?? I do not know ... from one side it's government wanting to ban poker rooms away from their countries , then , on the other hand it's the poker rooms , which thmselves without any pressure sometimes leave the countries , I do not get it ......

Pokerstars has become a poker room that is avoided by many low-stakes players. The blame belongs entirely to those who bought this company from Israeli owner. They make fun of most players and blocks them from making money... They will fall a few places in near future. Now they have given up a country and it will be harder for them but is their decision.

StheP maybe for you this is not such a bad thing,but I am sure that lot of players from Serbia play at this site and now they will have big problems!its will be easy to get money,but maybe they just love to play on this site and they dont like others!so no matter what poker site they close for playing,its bad thing for player!maybe next one will be GG,ACR and then you will be in problems!

888poker , you can play there , see ?? No problem , big offers , big promotions , you can try and build your bankroll there even from 1 penny , play many pennyrolls and earn tickets , play tournaments and eanr cash,play the Bank Roll Mob freerolls or other freerolls , win money an dtry for more opportunities . Who need JokersStars , especially as greedy as they have become nowadays

it all also depend what kind of software some player like and what can he offer!I cant say that I like much this 888 software and how tables looks and when you play when he deal cards and all things!its just too old for me and much different then party poker or poker stars!so even if they offer something good to players,maybe other things will not work for players!

It won't take long and Pokerstars will try to save itself somehow because if he loses 1st place and do not continues provide quality for all their customers this thing will happen. PS can't behave like that and after Stars Group will regret it.

I never like the idea a government to ban a poker room or a poker room to leave a country . But when a poker room leaves , voluntarily or not , because of law or non-profits reasons (this PS case seems to bea non profit case) , I like when the poker room eaves the players a time period of 5-7 days before it ldeactivated their acounts . So that way they manually can go to cashier and ask for withdrawal (cause afterwards it takes more time with the papers , identification asked by the poker room security team ) .
So things go a lot faster . most important , they don't lose some tickets with ''special'' value that cannot always ce calculated into money , into dollars , like the 10k bounty freeroll rewars tickets on PS for ex , or the star coins (it might be 1 coin =1cent typically , but you might win the whole jackpot with them ) or the golden coins on 888poker . ASlso you might want to play some last tournteys for 5-6 days before you ask for withdrawal , what's better than that ???

mirexxx you must know that lot of countries have problems with playing poker,casino or other betting sites and that people cant play on lot of them,especially when EU countries are in question!they just want to take taxes and that this big sites pay licence in their countries or like in some other cases they protect domestic sites and close this big foreign sites!

This kind of news make me reconsider my hatred , when I read at terms and conditions of a promotion in a poker room or a online casino that Greek players are excluded , thinking why should we be ecluded , can't we deposit the same as the others , haven't we deposited the same as the others , etc. The same when I cannot take part at any challenge at all .
. This kind of news shows to mw there are worse things , such as the poker room or the casino to departure once and for all fro the country . Ofcourse there is competition , free marcket , many allternatives , but if this poker room is one of the best , it will be missed .
So , btter not participate at all at any challenge or promotion rather than lose the ability to play on this room or casino

but its problem when,for example,some site need to pay tax in 20 EU countries,so in every country some tax,so probably for them its better to close site for this play and maybe they can earn enough or as they want in serbia,greece or any other country!who know what amount they want from them,but if they allow you that you play on this site,then goverment dont have anything from this and your money go in some other country and you will not spend it in your own town,state...

What you want to say can be true because variant with was a decision taken at a political level represents the truth. Where someone puts their nose comes to influence and the following laws prove it. Pokerstars is inactive now from this country.

It's crazy the tax or the fee they demand in countries like greece , in countries like mine the licence for a poker room or casino should be almost free or very cheap , cause we do not have so many players or so many money to spend , so the casino cannot earn a lot of money and the state cannot earn a lot of taxes , but it's good for the morality of the population to know they can gamble , win some extra cash for their salary , goverments like greek government shouldn't block this , or put so many obstacles and restrictions towards this goal . ofcourse in good times straps are very relaxed , in hard times straps are narrowed ......
Maybe in the future there will be a universal licence for all countries in the EU , but this I guess will happen after many years , now it'scrisis and recission times .....
Ofcourse Pokerstars is a company that does whatever it wants , it doesn't apologizes almost for anythng , to players , to pros/ex embassadors , players whose accounts closed suddenly for any reason , their TOS give them dictatorical judicial immunity ,lol...
So ,yes , they can leave anytime they want , do whatever they want , why not ??

Pokerstars for me has become an unbearable camera since they removed FPP, Vpp etc... This was followed by the elimination of freeroll tournaments that offered something good for many players. Number of customers has decreased and stars group are bad.

antonis I cant say that I agree with you and that somebody cant pay to your goverment this tax and that you dont have lot of players who will gamble!you are big country,so I believe that lot of players will play on this sites,but now they only can on domestic sites,which is not good!that EU where you should have all free,they restrict all thing to us!
