No. As far as I know the only thing matters is how many tickets you have altogether. If there is only one price (5000 mobpoints) that week and you've got maybe 500 tickets then on paper you might have approx. 10/1 odds to get it.
One problem you might encounter is you will never know for sure how many tickets are already in the pool (on most days the pool contains the tickets won from the mobcalendar and tickets from those who bought some individually) for example if there's only one prize to be won that doesn't necessarily mean there are only 5000 tickets in the pool - could be 9999, but the excess mobpoints would be added to next weeks draw unless their number could reach 5000 on the same week still.
Hope this helps. Multiple users have tried the draw with buying thousands of tickets - it worked for some and it failed others. There are no strategies worth sharing about it because the whole thing is random.

There's no difference.
The more tickets you got, the bigger chances of winning. But I think we've seen somebody win with just a single ticket, once or twice in the history of the Draw

The luck is very huge when you win with a ticket, but is bad when we have hundreds of tickets or over 1000 and don't win that prize. I suffered this even when there were 13 awards at a world championship or Christmas (I don't know exactly).
