I was deep in a tournament, the 50k guaranteed, 8 players left and I was medium stack(150k)
I was big blind with blinds 5k-10k folded to the small blind ( around 180k) he raises to 30k and I go all in with A K, he does not even think about it and immediatly calls, showing K 10, FLOP 10 I MEAN WTFFFFFFF is that, calling an all in of 150k and having left 30k if he lost, NO POT ODDS TO CALL AT ALL OR WHATSOEVER, JUST RUBBISH, WORKED MY ASS OF FOR 2,5hs, PLAYED AMAZING but then that stunt and I am out before I could even fart
just one word for it CRAP
I apolagize for my anger but I have to get rid of the frustration somehow

I got 900 for it, still sucks, more than 15k could have been minde, I saw him end up 3rd, the lucky bastard
I got lucky too in that tournament, but that was in the beginning, when you have to make a move to survive, but what he did, so close to the big money, should be punished by giving the guy who did the right thing all the chips, and that guy is me

With just 15 BB left he expected you to push with atc, and then KT is not that bad of a hand. And remember, with AK you will lose even against 72o one hand out of three.

IMO - It's a good call
Think about it for a moment 200k in the middle and 120k to call the pot odds are 1.7 to 1 if he has 2 live cards and you don't have a big pair ( tens or better ) then he's getting a great deal.
You've got the perfect re-shove stack and could ( and should ) be shoving any pair or any Ace + quite a few other hands. All of which he has a good price to call.
Bad beats happen in poker - if you hadn't noticed - take it on the chin, wish him good luck, and move on.
I would have done the same.
Incidentally - you mention you got lucky early in the torney " when you gotta make a move to survive" I hate to break it to you but you haven't gotta make a move early cause you have a stack which is so big in relation to the big blind that your in no danger of going out unless you do something stupid, get cold decked or suffer a bad beat.
sounds to me like overall you were the lucky one and you should be grateful to pick up 900.
Sorry if this reply sounds a little harsh but I'm just telling it the way I see it.

sounds like a tired call, he probably was happy with 8th and decided to start taking some risks, which i have done in the past, but not for that kind of money.

ouch dude, thats always a b1tch in those situations. been there to so close to the big money .
I hit KK on a 5 player cash game the other day, blinds 5/10skr (6skr = 1 dollah pretty much). So I have 1600 skr on the table (very loose table) and i raise it up in first position to 150skr, second dude goes all in (350skr) and the next guy calls it (this guy has been callin on everything and has about 3000skr on the table). After the other 2 guys folds and the action is back to me i think about it for a few moments, i dont believe he has the aces so I go for it, all in to isolate vs the other guy (maby not the best move but still) and the big stack calls it, no hesitation, he just calls me down. the all in guy shows pocket queens and the large stack flips over 7 5 OFF SUIT?????? The dude hit trips on the flop and afterwards he says "sorry" in the chat.
I was pretty upset back then =). Kings are NOT my hand.
I understand there, it's for sure really a frustrated last hand for you but I think you should know what type of player was that caller with K10 & play it differently. I mean if it's a player usually like to gamble & not a very tight player, you should have probably reraised to 80 or 90k or just called & see a flop. Something which would have make him scared & fold that K10. But anyway pushing all in was a good move too & it was just bad luck at the bad moment for you.
Yeah, too bad for you. You were lucky that it happenned not on the bubble. Anyway and what was his stack? Perhaps it was enormous so that he could take that risk.

Sounds familiar to me....I just pokered the whole night to get even after a STUNNING beat that cost me 400 bucks.
In a 1/2$ NLH game i had 400 on the table. UTG i got AK suited and raise it to 8. Button ( LAG player with 396 $ ) reraises to 24. Were both deepstacked, so I threebet, making it 80. He calls. Flop is 10 J Q off. I think: Cool, continue with 130 $ and the guy shoves...I think: okay, he has a set, lets see who wins. The guy flips over Q 6 off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To hit the third Q on turn and the 6 on the river.....giving him a runner runner boat.....
I was nearly eating up the keyboard.... And yes, afterwards he writes sorry, misclick....As if....Terribly unlucky.
But finally after 10 hours I won it back, making a HUGE 24 Euro profit today. Lmao

Actually 27o has better chance to win than KT here)) 'cause you don't have domination here)
Unfortunately AK preflop is as good as 72... If on flop u have 10 and somobody calls u with 10.. People almost always overplay AK well too much preflop, and u got unlucky, but ur fault that u commited all ur chips before 5 cards were dealt... Sorry man, u was greedy u got punished if to be honest...
