in my opinion it was not such terrible call ... he raised it and than you went all in ... the fact that he did not wait to call your all in was that he probably believed that he had the strongest hand ... of course at the final table people play most of the time without taking much of risks but on the other hand it's still a game with skill and luck and you was unlucky ... so m8 ... don't think to much about it and go on with the game without looking behind
With just 18 BB left and already in the money that isn't such a bad call. You say You got lucky , but in the beginning and say that's ok. I would rather play tight in the beginning stages and then make calls with k10 in the money, just like Your opponent did. What kind of hand should he wait for with 15 BB left after his raise? And with AK Your chances to win are about 60%. So that is not really a bad beat.
If this call takes hime to 3rd place in the 30% that he wins this hand then the call could very well have a +EV for him.
luckily because of BRM i have been able to try lots of different poker sites, and it seems like the random card gens like bad players.. in this case, i remember a guy that beat me with K T os, saying its his favorite hand.. i told him my AA that i re raise all in with . is most definetly not my favority hand.. oh well another badcall turned badbeat,, but heres the point,, it seems only real playing cards are worth a damn.. cuz any dufus can sit behind a monitor,, and online seems fixed(cooked for rakes, everyone gets a monster, whole tables going all in freeroll style), but not all sites.. and if its not the site ,,its the gangs of pro cheaters.. oh ya.. lots of em.. not just team speak and commo.. they are organized and use remote desktops to each other. and you wont stand a chance if a couple of them show up.. its also funny as i read these stories,, they all seem to have a bad player that somehow knows hes gonna hit. or lady luck really does favor the underdog,. i only trust what i can see, and will never play highstakes online.. only live..
