Everyone will have different opinions about the great poker players, there will be people who like one more than another, but that will not take away from being able to learn from all the great players, each one has something very special, that's why they are where they are, playing at the highest levels of poker.
For me i think of negreanu, ivy and hellmut. i like the way negreanu played. He has been the number 1 in poker. Even tho statistics do not give him, but i like his style of play, His attitude, the way he acts at the table with enthousiasm, constantely joking agains others. And has won many millions. So my favourite is Daniel!

Negreanu lately , the last years , he has some issues with his mentality and effectiveness at games , or am I wrong , besides HU leaks in his games , I do not know ....Anyway , but the truth is that if you have some sponsors that give you a lot of money to play games , if they pay actually games for you , it's easier to increase your winrate and total money earnings . I mean , they say some won $35M , what about the spendings , the sponsorships , the cash games losses or winnings , etc etc , it's a long story .....

Most famouspoker players are the ones who had many seccesses , but also the media loved them and they used this to their benefit . So in the top 5 , I am sure in th top 10 or even top 20 , we won't find players like Bonomo , who came , saw , played and won . They destroyed the game with GTO solving gameplay . Bonomo left the games , after he won far too many millions of $$$ , he didn't seek for media attention , the lights of the shows ......

MoneyMaker is also one of the most famous , at least he was until Black Friday anyway . Ofcourse he has not achieved many things after his success in the WSOP Main Event that gave him recognition , so what are exactly the criteria that poker players use to choose their most beloved players is a mystery , a mystery guy like Ivey would still have the same recognition even if he hadn't all these wins , thanks to his style that made him famous I believe .

Moneymaker went deep on this WSOP Main Event , I will not lie , i wanted him to mo further deeper , it would be amazing to watch him again in the final 18 , or even the FT itself , it would be awesome poker story , I was thinking how crazy it would be to win it again . Unfortunatelly he was beaten and busted out , didn't see his final hand , too bad , he had a very big stack earlier

In a podcast during COVID lockdown I heard MoneyMaker saying that he is having some lessons , with 1 or more pros , so as to improve his gameplay , to become more competitive and fix some leaks on his game , I liked that when I frst heard/watched it . I think his result in this WSOP shows these lessons had a good effect . I think good results and wins are coming for Moneymaker in the near future

It should be number 1 for the famous. Without Moneymaker (what a good name) poker would not be what it is today. Possibly we would not be on this page talking about this or thousands of other topics related to poker. There wouldn't be as much streaming as there is today, nor would so many people sign up for those kinds of tournaments. The poker world must thank you
