I wouldn't have been mad if I came second in that tournament haha. 4 million I think that would imply retirement for many players. And I wouldn't be mad if I made the final table and was the first to lose. Just by reaching the final table, any player was guaranteed a prize of 1 million dollars! Simply amazing. Next year the awards will surely be even better
You would and should have become mad , as the second place equals to $4M , first place to $8M , that's a lot of money , right ??
And to lose $4M because you c-bet KQo on a 10 high fllop , not a flush draw for you but a potential heart flush draw for opponent , 10h 2h 7s , is it a flop to c-bet ?? I wouldn't .
Then if you get check raised with a pot-bet , on the flop , do you continue ?? I wouldn't . For what ?? A potential J or K or Q on the turn ?? I think HU on this tourney it's very loose . Mayve if he just checked he wouldn't have topay a lot to the opponent ,
And the last shove on the river ?? WTF was that ??
We are talking about $4M loss from these decisions .
Do you know what $4M means ?? What you can buy ?? For how many years you can keep on living without doing anything else , not working or playing poker ?? Permanent Vacations , lol

haha I'm not saying that I wouldn't have been angry about how I would have played the hand. I say that if today you tell me that I am going to win 4 million, but that I am going to finish 2nd in one of those tournament, I will sign anywhere! I agree with you that the hand was not well played (although sometimes looking at it from the outside is different from living it).

That's right, there are still tournaments to play. From what I read, one that had a guaranteed 1 million was canceled, due to lack of personnel. I did not read well because the matter was that that happened, but it was not possible to play. Nearby, in Brazil, the BSOP (Brazilian Series of Poker) is about to start, also with interesting prizes.

It is for nothing the best event in poker and no one wants to miss the opportunity to play a tournament in the series. I was amazed at how many tournaments Daniel Negreanu played (over 50 if I'm not mistaken) and he spent 1 million on buy-ins. still he made a profit (1.4 million in prizes, which makes 400k in favor). there was a player who had millionaire losses. I do not remember his name

Undoubtedly, we are talking about people who are at another level. because being able to spend 1 million on buy-ins is too much. I can't even pay the buy in for the main event, so I couldn't even play so many tournaments. But if I had the money, I would definitely test my ability. it would be a unique experience
