The amount of money that they take from you in the USA when they win the lottery is impressive. In this case I do not know how long they would pay all the money, but from what I have read the main lottery (the one that can win a figure of more than one billion) you can prefer the single payment (with taxes) or payments annually up to 30 years! Perhaps in this case you decided to use the one-time payment to enjoy the money, or to invest it.

it is true, in the united states the taxes are crazy, but at least you have managed to win the big prize and therefore you can enjoy it without any doubt, of course it should not be like that, but the law is like that, there are other countries that do not charge much, and others do not even charge taxes.

In my country, when someone wins the lottery or the big prizes of other games of chance, they have to pay 5%. It is very little, but it still annoys people having to pay any kind of money to the state. Of course, the amounts that can be earned here are not even close to those in the USA. And here the payment is unique.

Many of the people I know try their luck in the lottery with just a few cents and are lucky enough to win money sometime, I think these games are always very exciting because there is a lot of money at stake.
