Analysts expect that the GGR in Macau casinos would be badly affected, after a fresh outbreak of COVID-19 was recorded last week.
Authorities have introduced "a state of immediate prevention", but it has fallen short of temporary closure of the casinos. According to GGR Asia, a total of 31 confirmed cases were noted last week, and the numbers are expected to continue to rise this week.

Did anyone tell the Chinese and Indians of this plan? Each of those nations alone has a population in excess of one billion. And Covid doesn't have the leathality of say the "black death" in the middle ages,that wiped out up to half of the population.
I totally agree with what you write, unfortunately we are now waiting for the umpteenth vaccination (wth vaccination side effect...) for the umpteenth wave of the virus... Curfews, more restrictions, wearing masks... etc... while our money is being eroded by inflation and high food and fuel prices. welcome to the "brave new world!!" No money, no oxigen, No nothing...

I believe that these months will be very dark for all of us, but we must face it, it is a reality, it seems like something out of a movie, we must always keep calm and take care of ourselves, not only ourselves but also our loved ones.

it is a pity what has happened in japan, things always go from bad to worse, but we must always keep calm, now with covid it is much more complicated, many businesses have started to close and that is bad for the economy of a country, but well, we must take care of ourselves.

I hope they don't close everything, they should take other measures that are easier to comply with, but we have to adapt to what is coming, this year I thought that the pandemic would end but I think it will not be like that.
